The staff was friendly and the beds are pretty comfortable, but that’s about where the positive ends. I stayed in two separate rooms back to back due to schedule conflicts (not a knock on the hotel there, they were quite helpful letting me bounce around). The first room I arrived to the room at 53 degrees set on thermostat changed it and got settled putting my groceries in the fridge and going to bed. Woke up to all my groceries spoiled. A couples days later I did my room swap to find my new room has no WiFi or service just in my room. It immediately returns to working the moment I step out in the hallway. Staff said it was a problem and they could call someone to fix it but couldn’t find the number and were out of other room so I was out of luck. Both rooms were dirty, housekeeping didn’t make my bed a single night, and only about half the outlets worked in either room.

My husband and I retired military have always stayed at the Landmark Inn when we are in town and never had the amount of issues that we have suffered this visit. Our first room, the heat wasn’t working so we said ok we’ll change rooms. Moved to a room across from previous room. Heat working great, and we got all unpacked and relaxing until I had to use the bathroom. I finished doing my business and turned to flush the toilet and the handle broke off. It’s almost as if someone glued the handle on instead of replacing the mechanism that operates the handle because it didn’t move down it just broke off. I called the front office requesting for maintenance and maintenance was gone home. I requested for a maintenance on call and they didn’t have that. So, the receptionist said to me “unfortunately we don’t have anyone to fix the toilet, I’m sorry”. I said what, we can’t stay in this room with smelly poop! So she must’ve called someone because when I went to the office to request to change rooms again ( third room) she then offered another room. We had to pack everything up and move once more. This is absolutely ridiculous that Fort Liberty is allowing these despicable issues to happen. I need to be the supervisor here because I would definitely have a maintenance man on call at all times to on a rotating shift. Fort Liberty isn’t 🚗 ng about their soldiers active or retired when it comes to paid living quarters at Landmark Inn, get it together!!!!

Horrible customer service. I was over charged by $45 a day (I was suppose to be charged at the military rate of $95 a day) I called to get it corrected, they told me there was nothing they could do. Very scammy considering I have stayed here multiple times AT the military rate. Don’t stay here if you can avoid it 👍🏻

A few positives, the beds were comfortable and the room was pretty quiet unless you ran the air handler. However, there were several issues that are not addressed, especially at the price of this place vs nearby hotels. First, the hot water had very little pressure and would take several minutes to get to our room. Second, the heater only put out very, very hot air, made the room insufferable. We would turn it on and run it for a few minutes and then turn it off to keep the room warm. The heater also seemed to be what was generating the mild bad odor in the room. Third, the breakfast - the waffle mix was bad/wrong, unexpired milk was curdled, the fruit was very bruised, bananas were more brown than yellow. Next day we ate at iHOP. The hotel is in a general state of disrepair. It appears many attempts were made at cheap repairs, such as reglueing wallpaper seams and taped up electrical cords. I did send these concerns to hotel management while we were there, after close to 48 hours now there has been no response or acknowledgement of the email at all. I do believe it was read as the breakfast attendant (who was standing there when I poured out the curdled milk) was mean mugging me every time I walked by the following morning. Overall, I would expect this hotel quality at about 1/3 to half of the cost. As one of the more expensive properties in the area for my stay I really expected a much higher quality property. I would not recommend staying here unless it is a last option.
