Just returned from a 9 day stay at the Botania Relais and Spa. I could not fault the hotel in anyway - it was fantastic from start to finish. Great facilities, exceptional staff all around, who were always extremely helpful, and the food was a delight, possible one of the best breakfast experiences I've had. Then the gardens are just beautiful. We were sorry to leave and would go back in a heartbeat. A slice of paradise on the beautiful island of Ischia.

We spent four lovely nights at Botania. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to provide a wonderful and memorable experience. The 7 course tasting menu at Il Mirto was one of the best meals we encountered on our two week stay in Italy. Girardo, Giuseppe and Giovanni made the night extra special for our party. What can I say—this place is truly magical! Initially, I was a bit hesitant since the property isn’t located directly on the beach. However, we ended up preferring the lush gardens, serene greenery, and tranquil setting over the hustle and bustle of the beachfront. For those who do crave the ocean, a stunning beach is just a five-minute walk from the hotel. As someone who appreciates beautifully maintained gardens, wholesome cuisine, and elegant ambiance, this place exceeded all expectations—it checked every box. The grounds are even more breathtaking than I had imagined, and the staff deserve special mention. Every single team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and detail-oriented. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience. We’re genuinely sad to leave this little slice of paradise, but we’re already counting down the days until we return next year. Without a doubt, this was one of the finest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Thank you Botania!!! We can’t wait to return!

Botania Relais & Spa was hands down the most thoughtfully run hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the service and attention to detail were exceptional. We were greeted with a warm welcome, given a thorough tour of the beautiful grounds, and found treats waiting in our room to celebrate our honeymoon—such a special touch. We had every intention of exploring Ischia, especially with the generous shuttle the hotel provides, but truthfully, we could barely pull ourselves away. Everything we needed—and more—was right there. We spent full days lounging by the pool, enjoying delicious drinks and snacks, and relaxing in the comfortable loungers. The spa was also a highlight. We both loved our facials and made full use of the hot plunge, cold plunge, and steam room. We tried multiple restaurants on the property, and each meal was memorable. Our favorite was the one focused on local cuisine, where we enjoyed a multi-course tasting of traditional Ischia dishes. Breakfast each morning was incredible, with some of the best green juices we’ve ever had, a variety of specialty coffees, and a wide array of options to suit any mood or craving. The cocktail bar was another standout. The staff was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also took the time to get to know our preferences, crafting drinks that felt personal and unique. We had one very minor hiccup during our stay, and when we mentioned it to the staff, they responded with such kindness and urgency. The issue was resolved immediately, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt cared for—complete with their best champagne and continued check-ins throughout the day. This place was absolute magic. We can’t wait to return.
