호텔 골포 델 솔(Golfo del Sole Holiday Resort)

Great location. Very nice few days of relaxation in the middle of a tour around Italy. Beautiful beach that wasn’t crowded. Each room is assigned a pair of chairs and an umbrella on the beach, which was convenient. The pool was just enough with a small slide for the kids. The resort has a bunch of water sports at the beach (paddle boats, kayaks, SUPs) all readily available for 10 euro for 30 min or 15 euro for 1 hour, which I found reasonable. They also offer a free kids club and various kids activities, so the resort is a great option for families. The kids club instructors spoke English, which helped our kids feel comfortable. They run a kids dance party every night with songs in several languages (English, Italian, German), and our kids particularly enjoyed that. We stayed in the hotel, but there are also bungalows and apar**ents that looked nice. The bungalows overlooking the sea looked especially great, but unfortunately they were not available for our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and updated. We booked a family room, which was basically a 2 bedroom hotel room (very comfortable for a family of 4). While food quality was just fine, we found the food options to be a bit lacking at times. Although there was always somewhere to eat, it was confusing as to where we could actually get food at any particular time of the day. There’s a pizza place next to the pool that doesn’t seem to open for lunch, which seemed odd to us given that the pool is most crowded in the middle of the day. The restaurant in the hotel is also closed for lunch most days. The beachside restaurant is nice but reservations are needed a day or two in advanced. We also found it a bit frustrating that the pool closes early in the evening, well before dusk. And on one of the days of our visit there was a short storm in the morning that led the resort to close the pool and beachside restaurant for the entire day (and evening) even after the day cleared up and turned into a beautiful afternoon. Overall, this resort is a great option for a nice family vacation. We had a very relaxing few days there.

I've been guest of Golfo del Sole for 4 years during the eighties, I was a child, and I've always kept with me such fantastic memories of this Swiss touristic village with beautiful bungalows directly face off with the sea, comfortable apar**ents and a nice hotel, with tons of different services like big swimming pools, minigolf, restaurant, minimarket, tennis courts, etc. Many years later, it's enchanting to discover it again with my two children, the quality of the resort it's such improved, with a total renovation of all structures, with a very attentive and personalized service, incredible comfort, great food, tons of fun and even relaxing a**osphere for all family members. I've booked the hotel, the last week of July2021, the rooms aren't giants but they fit comfortable and very clean. All the elements are delightful, I truly appreciated it, the entire resort staff is very kind towards every single necessity that you or your children could have. We've spent a fantastic holiday time, we're definitely thinking for coming back for our future summer vacation.

Being from Tuscany before covid we never really booked holidays in our own region. Last year we booked at the nearby The Sense Experience and, being terribly disappointed, while walking down the beach we saw the bungalows of Golfo del Sole. This year we booked a sea view suite for 1/3 of the price of The Sense Resort and it was better in any possible way. Access to the beach is 30 m away, you get a nice gazebo together with the room and the beach is not as crowded as the other sections in follonica since the resort owns a very long stretch. The pool is ok, nothing spectacular but it serves its purpose. We haven’t tried the kids activities or other sport equipment but they looked fine and well organized. Breakfast is ok, difficult to do better under covid restrictions.

On the plus side : The apar**ent was clean and nicely equipped, there are numerous activities (pool, tennis, ping-pong, volley, mini-golf, etc...), definitely good to have a private space on the beach and not having the stress to go early to reserve a place. Could be better : the pool (not always enough transats, pool not big enough at peak time and a bit old), the restaurants (quite expensive and not great, better to drive a few minutes out to eat in real Toscanian restaurants...) Summary : good place for a week with the kids, would not stay longer as not really exclusive and private, too big and too touristic I would say, but you will find what necessary.

✅Die Anlage bietet eine malerische Kulisse mit einem schönen Strand und gutem Kaffee. Ein grosser Vorteil sind die zugewiesenen Strandliegen. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind ein absoluter Traum. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Wochenmarkt in Follonica. ❌ Leider lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig, mit sandigen Regalen, verstopften Abflüssen, Schimmel im Bad und einem nicht hygienischen Kühlschrank. Urinstein und Kalkablagerungen im WC, sowie eine unzureichende Reinigung der Küche mit fettigem Schmutz an den Rändern. Der Balkon war ebenfalls schmutzig. Die Preise in den Lebensmittelgeschäften und Bäckereien sind schweizerischen Standards angepasst und daher sehr teuer. Ein besonders unangenehmes Erlebnis war das Auftreten von Ratten während unseres Aufenthalts. Das Personal ist trotz der Mängel sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Matratzen sind durchgelegen und wir hatten sogar einmal Schimmel auf den Matratzen erlebt. Eine bessere Kontrolle zu Saisonbeginn wäre wünschenswert. Die Animation könnte verbessert werden und einige davon sind nicht angemessen gekleidet, was für Kinder nicht ideal ist. Die Preise sind extrem gestiegen, während der Komfort und Service leider gesunken sind. Aufgrund dieser Entwicklungen haben wir uns entschieden, das letzte Mal in dieser Anlage gewesen zu sein. Es ist enttäuschend, dass uns für ein kaputtes Plastiktischchen über 100 Euro berechnet wurden, was unverhältnismässig hoch erscheint und das Urlaubserlebnis stark beeinträchtigt hat. Schade! Man könnte sehr viel noch rausholen aus der Anlage!

Splendida vacanza in famiglia nel primo week-end di apertura pasquale. Struttura molto bella direttamente sul mare, che abbiamo apprezzato molto nonostante il tempo ventoso e incerto. Villaggio ampio, recintato, pulito e molto curato, con appartamenti grandi e confortevoli ma anche tanti spazi verdi per il relax. Molto comodi e funzionali i braccialetti per l'addebito dei pagamenti all'interno della struttura. I bambini sono rimasti entusiasti e hanno apprezzato moltissimo il mini-club, le molte attività offerte (ping-pong, minigolf, noleggio risciò..) e le tante aree gioco attrezzate per tutte le età, oltre all'attesissimo intrattenimento serale con baby-dance, giochi e balli di gruppo. Una nota particolarmente positiva ai ragazzi dell'animazione, sempre sorridenti, disponibili e molto attenti a coinvolgere tutti i bambini! Un posto in cui tornare sicuramente, per apprezzarne il mare, la piscina e le attività anche con temperature più estive.

Siamo stati per la prima volta con la famiglia, bello bello giardini verde giochi per bimbi ristorazione ottima scelta di pasti, ricevimento disponibile e professionalità pulizia esterno e camere in particolare un grazie alla animazione golfo del sole bravi. Ritorneremo.

Meine drei Kinder (8, 13, 17) und ich haben eine Woche in einem Bungalow in dieser fantastischen Anlage verbracht. Aber die fünf Sterne gehen eindeutig an die Animation. Meine Söhne haben das Fussballcamp besucht. Der Coach (Enzo) hat sich sehr bemüht, den Jungs ein positives Erlebnis zu bieten. Zwischendurch wurde es ziemlich hitzig. Doch er konnte alle Konflikte souverän und geduldig lösen. Das hat uns sehr beeindruckt! Auch die anderen Animatoren (Fabio, Davide, Noah und Sebastian) haben sich toll mit den Kindern verstanden und ihnen viele unvergessliche Momente beschert! Und wenn die Kinder zufrieden sind, hat auch Mama entspannte Ferien! :) Abends gab es immer Kinderdisco, Gruppentänze und Shows. Auch hier haben es die Animatoren und vor allem Enzo verstanden, alle Gäste von klein bis gross zu motivieren und miteinzubeziehen. Seine positive Ausstrahlung und Hingabe für seine Arbeit hat jede Show zu einem Spektakel werden lassen. Die Chefin des Animationsteams war leider sehr wenig präsent. Und es bleibt die Frage, warum man nicht mehr auf die Kompetenz und Kreativität von einem motivierten jungen Mann setzt. Wir möchten uns bei Noah, Fabio, Sebastian, Davide und Enzo bedanken, dass sie ihre Arbeit mit so viel Freude und Hingabe tun, so viel gute Laune verbreiten und sich so herzlich um die Kinder kümmern.
