팔라초 로젤리 체코니(Palazzo Roselli Cecconi)

Excellent location and stay in Florence. My husband and I stayed in the tower suite and the view was unbelievable. There is a long spiral staircase with many stairs to get to the tower view so keep that in mind if you are considering that room. Overall, our room was beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here on the last day of our two weeks in Italy and loved it. The cool quiet space was a wonderful reprieve from the heat and it is right in the heart of the old city so there is so much to see within steps of the front door. The building itself is really interesting and has been updated with all the latest comforts. Wish we had spent more time here!

Abbiamo passato una notte a palazzo Roselli Cecconi e eravamo partiti con ottimi presupposti e grandi aspettative, viste le 4 stelle e mezzo, le recensioni e l'ottima posizione, il comodissimo servizio di garage in ztl, con l'autista che ritira la macchina all'ingresso di un bellissimo palazzo antico. Purtroppo siamo rimasti delusi, avevamo la camera numero 4, a detta loro "speciale" per la presenza della sauna-bagno turco, da dove però esce cattivo odore, che fortunatamente rimane solo nel bagno. L'interno della doccia, per colpa del vapore ha parecchi punti con della muffa, e purtroppo il bagno non era stato pulito bene. C'erano dei capelli e parecchi peli dietro i sanitari, schizzi di dentifricio sulle piastrelle e polvere, che era lì da un po'. Nel pomeriggio notiamo in camera la presenza di zanzare, 6 per l'esattezza, più una già spiaccicata sul muro. Nell'intento di ucciderle con una maglietta, cominciamo a smuovere polvere, da muri, quadri e lampade, che forma laniccio per terra e sul divano. Prima di andare a cena, facciamo notare al ragazzo della reception queste problematiche, compresi anche 2 bei capelli lunghi e neri sulle lenzuola e lui ci guarda un po' così, non sapendo neanche cosa dire. Alla nostra domanda, su come si potesse risolvere, ci dice che la persona che si occupa delle pulizie non c'è, e "proverà" a rimediare lui. Andiamo a cena, e quando torniamo troviamo più o meno tutto allo stesso modo, capelli compresi, aveva tolto solamente la lanugine da per terra e i peli più lunghi dal bagno. Un vero peccato, perché l'albergo è bello, un bello stile di arredo, una bella posizione, ma ci aspettavamo maggiore pulizia.

Abbiamo trascorso un romantico weekend a Firenze per il nostro anniversario di fidanzamento e per il soggiorno abbiamo scelto Palazzo Roselli Cecconi. L'hotel occupa il secondo piano di un palazzo d'epoca dal grande fascino e si trova nel quartiere di Santa Croce da cui a piedi è possibile raggiungere tutti i luoghi di interesse in massimo 15 minuti. Il prezzo è conveniente per la media cittadina (circa 150€ a persona per due notti con colazione compresa), la qualità del sonno è davvero ottima e il personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile. I difetti? La pulizia e la manutenzione della camera potevano essere sicuramente più accurate visto il numero ridotto di stanze. In particolare al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato davvero molta polvere e la doccia era sprovvista di una delle due ante previste per chiuderla, il che rendeva difficoltoso lavarsi senza allagare il bagno. Un piccolo consiglio? Aggiungere almeno un'opzione di colazione salata (al momento la proposta è solo dolce).

At arrival we waited for minutes onto the street with our luggage but the was there was no one to open the gate. We shout and there was someone from another shop wgho could open the gate. The hotel is on the second floor of a building but upon arrival at the reception there was nobody, only a paper with an telephone. I tried to call the number but no one ansered the phone. Finally someone appeared. The elevtor to reach the hotel is a very old lift with flapping doors so it's a real hassle to use when you have to put luggage in or out. Even with shopping bags in your hands it's a hassle. At 08:00 there shouls be breakfast, but it was not there before 08:15 and the breakfast is not what i would call breakfast; only a croissant a cup of fruit and jam that was it. Service is very poor! Rooms are ok but there are no plugs at the desk!

What a hidden gem. Absolutely charming, extremely clean, I did arrive late at night and it was very easy to access my room after the reception was closed. The room had every amenity and it was absolutely lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here during my birthday celebration in Tuscany. It had an elegant boutique hotel vibe that was also historic and charming. The hotel staff were overall pleasant and welcoming. The gentleman assigned to the front desk was helpful but also had a quirky personality, particularly when a question was asked of him as his facial expressions were somewhat puzzling. Parking is outsourced to a third party garage service so it took some time for our rental car to be picked up and then brought back to us. Fortunately, the palazzo’s location was conveniently located close to key sights and restaurants. We enjoyed walking all around Florence. Our room was very clean and had elegant and historic touches but also needed some minor sprucing up as we noticed the white curtains were torn. The housekeeping staff person was very thorough in cleaning our room. The continental breakfast was adequate with coffee, espresso, juice, pastries and fruit with no savory items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if we’re in the area.

Very quaint little hotel in Florence. We had tower suite which includes about a 2 story climb up to outside rooftop space. Rooms are on the second floor of the building, with elevator access. Nice clean room, pleasant and helpful staff. Would return.
