Wonderful, well appointed, quiet, scrupulously clean, comfortable etc etc. Our initial impression was that it was a bit old fashioned until you realise that that’s the style. The room was marvellously appointed and comfortable and cleaner than almost anywhere we’ve stayed. We’d highly recommend a stay here.

What a lovely stay James was so pleasant the hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean the bed is so comfortable and we stayed in room 1 the bedding and towls smelt really fresh cannot fault this guest house at all lots of cereals and fruit and yogurts to choose from fresh orange juice and milk in your fridge we had a lovely stay

My friend & I have stayed in this lovely Victorian guest house for the last two nights, the owner greeted us on arrival & made us feel very welcome, we stayed in room four which was beautifully decorated & provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, having breakfast in our room was a treat with a plentiful supply of milk, juice, yogurts, fruit, cereals etc, we couldn’t have asked for anything better, will certainly recommend to friends & family if staying in Filey or surrounding areas 😉

On arrival was met by the owner and their little girl, such a lovely welcome Stayed in room 2 for one night. Beautiful and immaculately clean. Tastefully decorated with hair dryer, straighteners, dressing gowns and,slippers supplied as well as lovely toiletries . Fridge in room ideal. King size bed so comfy and high quality bedding They even have iron and ironing board outside room to use if you so wish Breakfast was fruit,yogurt,cereals, fresh orange juice and water too. On arrival milk was in the fridge which is a lovely touch. Plenty tea and coffee facilities and hot chocolate. Only improvement we would say was perhaps more than one packet of biscuits for a couple and maybe add some croissants pre packed or Danish pastries for breakfasts too as there are knives and forks in the room. Would,definitely return, thank you 😊

Me and the wife stayed there July '25, great location, handy for everything, plenty of free street parking nearby. Lovely hosts, our room was great, no issues whatsoever, would recommend and would stay there again.

Filey Grange guest house is ideally situated on the edge of Filey town centre within short walking distance of the beach and promenade. As requested, we telephoned that we were about to arrive and were met at the door by James, the proprietor. The house is small but beautifully decorated and furnished. The room itself was spotlessly clean and also tastefully decorated. It had a good sized en suite, modern bathroom which was also immaculate. The room was very comfortable and included a television, a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Complementary breakfast cereals, fruit, and water are available to eat in your room. I’d highly recommend Filey Grange Guest House and would certainly stay there again if we return to Filey.
