We had an incredible stay at Burghotel Feldberg! From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. This hotel is perfect for families, as it’s extremely kid-friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was simply amazing – every meal felt like a treat! The rooms were spotless and had a modern design, offering all the comfort we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, close to nature with stunning views, making it a great base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located at one of the Black Forest's highest points (1389m), which in itself is a plus if you're looking for cooler weather. Beautiful walking trails all around, the map collection captured in a grandma's file kept at Reception. The property is very well located for skiing I imagine, with magic carpets & ski shops/restaurants next to the hotel. In non-ski periods (like when we went), there's just one open cafe nearby (with a great view), besides the restaurant the hotel itself. Rooms- very clean, well maintained, toilets modern. An empty minibar to store your stuff. Reception- staff were friendly enough, with passable English. Restaurant- excellent food & service, though pricey. While booking the stay, the hotel offered a fairly expensive price for dinner, but didn't needlessly push it (unlike some other larger hotels in the area, which is why we chose to stay with them). We ate some dinners at a pizzeria six km away, a hit with children. Breakfast- Good spread. with a variety of fresh breads, cheese and fruits. They make eggs to order, though that's not advertised - you have to ask. The only downside is they make you sit on the same table throughout your stay (dinner/breakfast), which makes it a little boring. Parking- limited in the free spaces. You could book a garage spot for €5 per night, recommended if you're going during a busy period. Nearby sights- the Feldburg turm (tower) is a 5 minute drive from the hotel, with a €14 cable car to the top. The 450m suspension (walking) bridge in Todtnau, a 15 minute drive, was a great find for us, completely unexpected in the middle of nowhere. Lake Titisee with all its attractions is a 20 minute drive. Shopping: Lidl and a few other shops/cafes a 6 minute drive from the hotel. Overall, we had a great time and plan to be back.

First time skiing and we booked a hotel direct at the snow in Feldberg. Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Clean rooms and the once with a view on the mountain are Nice to wake up into. Wellness was alsof very nice. The only downside for us was the fixed seating in the restaurant.

Il Burg hotel è un buon hotel situato in una posizione semplicemente perfetta letteralmente a due passi dalle piste del comprensorio sciistico di Feldberg. La suite è molto spaziosa e dotata di 2 camere separate, potendo ospitare fino a 4 persone. Unica pecca la cucina, nel senso che pur essendoci i fornelli non si possono utilizzare (ma c’è a disposizione un microonde). La colazione invece l’ho trovata povera, sebbene vi siano alcune opzioni dolci e salate. Ottima e rilassante invece la zona sauna. In generale un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, molto comodo, senza dover spendere una fortuna per una vacanza sulla neve.

Wir durften drei Tage Entspannung, Genuss und wohlfühlen im Hotel Burg geniessen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, unser Zimmer war wunderschön hergerichtet und das Zimmer war einfach super toll, sauber, ruhig. Im Wellnessbereich konnten wir uns toll entspannen und genossen die schöne Anlage. Frühstücksvuffet 1 A und abends wurden wir kulinarisch verwöhnt, das Menue einfach himmlisch. Das Personal kompetent, freundlich, jederzeit hilfsbereit und immer mit einem Lächeln. Dem ganzen Personal vom Hotel Burg einen riesengroßes Dankeschön für den schönen Kurzurlaub den wir bei Ihnen verbringen durften. Wir kommen wieder. Inge und Klaus

Leuk hotel met alle voorzieningen voor wie houdt van een rustige, zorgeloze vakantie. Vriendelijk onthaal met onmiddellijk voldoende uitleg over de mogelijkheden in de buurt en de werking van het gratis openbaar vervoer in de streek. Het hotel is goed gelegen als uitvalsbasis voor allerlei activiteiten en ligt toch ook rustig om op het gemak van de omgeving te genieten. Personeel in het algemeen supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers zijn zeer ruim met goed bed en alle voorzieningen. (Terras, kitchenette, kluisje), alles is zeer proper. Enkel de badkamer nogal aan de kleine kant in vergelijking met de kameroppervlakte. Net groot genoeg voor 1 persoon. Ontbijtbuffet is verzorgd en meer dan voldoende gevarieerd. Eitjes worden op eenvoudige vraag direct bereid in de keuken. Gezellige bar en mooi terras. Beperkte restaurantkaart maar wel lekker en verzorgd. Tenslotte ook nog een mooie ruime wellnesszone vrij te gebruiken door de gasten.
