3rd time back and now even better! This Hotel is such a great find! Hotel Diana is 5 minutes drive to the top of Feldberg mountain with all the amenities. We were there in August with our 8 and 6 year olds and there are so many things to do from walking to hidden lakes to a Go Ape like adventure course, also an indoor version. The winter ski season must also be very convenient from the hotel and there is a bus that runs from the main road up. The hotel itself is lovely. The hotel is family run and the owner was at hand and treated guests. Traditional style but very good amenities and very clean. Recently has had the rooms renovated since our last visit and we stayed in one which was really nicely done up. The breakfast was great, a very good variety with some different hot pasties made daily and all items to a very nice quality. The room we had was a very large family room with a big balcony with views down to the valley towards Titisee and also the fields at the back. Very quite to sleep at night and we could star gaze every night with the kids! The room was very clean and the shower was always nice and warm and powerful. Room serviced everyday. We had meals there nearly every night and the menu was gorgeous and all freshly home made. Schitzels were massive! The pool area is also a very nice surprise, really large pool for the hotel size, over 10 meters, and also a sauna, great to jump into after a days walking. There is also plenty of parking outside for free and also an Electric Car charging point :-). From the hotel you are within 15-20 minutes to all attractions and also 35 minutes to Freiburg the main city. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel as a base to explore the black forest area.

Going on a late skiing holiday mid March. The weather was unfortunately not appropriate, so I only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly but spoke too fast considering that they could hear that German is neither my first or second language. The bed was way too soft for my back, and the pillow was very "German" - very big, and at first you think it will support your head, but after half an hour it is completely flat. The food in the restaurant was OK, but nothing special. If you want the menu you should preorder. Room and hotel in general nice and clean.

Ich kenne das Hotel seit 30 Jahren, die Zimmer wurden schön renoviert, das Bad bekam einen neuen Wandspiegel. Leider fehlte in ganzen Bad die Steckdosen. Haare musste ich im Zimmer föhnen. Das Frühstücke ist gut und reichhaltig, leider gab es kein guten Morgen oder schönen Tag von den Mitarbeitern.Es gab keine Möglichkeit sich mit den Mitarbeitern zu unterhalten. Es gibt eine kleine Auswahl an Speisen für das Abendessen, dass man bis 17 Uhr vorbestellen muss. Preisleistungsverhältniss…. kann man darüber streiten. Es gibt leider auch keine Möglichkeit nachmittags einen Cappuccino oder Tee zu bekommen. Das Haus hat seinen Charme nicht verloren, leider dafür die Mitarbeiter…. Schade !

Personal im Service und an der Reception sehr freundlich. Mit dem Frühstücksangebot waren wir sehr zufrieden, Zimmer, Badezimmer, Balkon sehr sauber. Interessante Objekte (alte Fernsprecher, Schreibmaschinen...) dekorieren die Räume. Genügend Gratisparkplätze vor dem Haus, Leider ist der Zugang ins Haus und zur Reception nicht ganz barrierefrei, es muss je eine Stufe ohne Handlauf bewältigt werden. In unserem Zimmer passte der zu kleine Bett-Unterbau nicht zur Matratze, was für ältere Leute eine gewisse "Absturzgefahr" darstellt.

Im Großen und Ganzen ein gutes Hotel allerdings wird mit Ruhe und Entspannung durch einen Indorpool und eine Sauna geworben dies ist jedoch kaum möglich da im ganzen Bereich Kinder sind und man sich wie auf einem Kinderspielplatz vorkommt. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier falsch da nur "Kinder" zählen.

Hôtel idéalement situé. Belle vue sur le Feldberg et le Titisee. La chambre est superbe, très propre et refaite à neuf. Dommage : literie trop souple et nos fenêtres donnaient sur un pré en surplomb où paissaient des vaches munies de cloches, donc très bruyantes la nuit. Autre bémol : personnel très jeune ne cherchant pas le contact avec la clientèle, limite antipathique. Nous n'avons jamais vu les patrons. Repas du soir à déconseiller : cher, très épicé et minimaliste.
