We stayed one night en route walking Hadrian's wall and had a lovely stay. Room was very comfortable and appreciated fresh milk with the tea tray and option of a bath. Beautiful setting. Breakfast was superb - delicious fruit, eggs and bacon in particular stood out (we have stayed in several B & B's on this trip). Lovely welcome and lots of local information on hand. Excellent base for the Roman history sites and Hadrian's wall.

Wydon Farm B&B was a fantastic find, thanks to TripAdvisor. Linda & John offer a tranquil home from home in fully equipped, comfortable bedroom suites immediately next to their farmhouse. The generous home-cooked breakfast, served in the farmhouse dining room was just delicious! The added bonus was that Wydon Farm was so close to Hadrian’s Wall and many interesting places to visit or to walk. Linda and John provided great local information enabling their guests to plan their stay with ease and were always willing to offer assistance. Our only regret was that we hadn’t stayed longer, but we’ll visit again. With our thanks.
