Found the accommodation last minute online. Booked and arrived 5 minutes later. Friendly staff, lovely small-but-perfect room, great location by the water and in the middle of all the goings on in town. Breakfast very good with an outstanding view across the water. Great stay whilst visiting my sone at uni. And mostly importantly, the pillows are perfect!

We stayed 2nts en route to the Isles of Scilly & enjoyed a great stay with a warm welcome on arrival & stayed in room ‘Agnes’. Spotlessly clean & very comfortable & appreciated the quality of the coffee maker. Staff were lovely throughout our stay in bar & restaurant, genuinely warm, friendly & delivered excellent service. Breakfast was high quality as was dinner & all served with an amazing view across the water. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect holiday in this beautiful hotel. Situated right on the harbour edge with beautiful views. Lovely room with gorgeous beams in the ceiling. Everything has been modified to maintain all original features of this beautiful building. The property is in a very central position for all the beautiful shops and restaurants. Unfortunately no parking but very nearby and reasonably priced. The breakfast was incredible with a lovely menu. Staff very pleasant and everything spotlessly clean. Bar restaurant serving lovely food at a very reasonable price. Will definitely return

Our 2nd stay here.we stayed here in march and enjoyed it soo much..we re booked.We stayed for 2nights in the room Stella.Its very clean here.with friendly staff.great location.lovly breakfast.its fairly noisy until 11pm.but then the room is quiet.we will visit again .

Made very welcome on arrival, our room overlooked the Marina, very quiet and comfortable. We were lucky and had great weather so this all makes a stay better. Breakfast was really good, all the staff couldn’t do enough for you. We also had an evening meal, again, very enjoyable.

I arrived on probably the worst day of the year for rain, and was soaked when I got to my room. Initially the room was cold, but thanks to a fan and convection heater, plus the radiator on the wall, the room soon warmed up. The bathroom remained a bit cold, probably due to the window letting in some cold air. There was no disturbance from noise outside, although I would imagine there could be on a hot summers night, due to the outside pub(s) seating down below. But if you stay in the middle of town you have to expect that anyway. Lovely view out over the harbour. Very nice pub down below, with good beer and tasty food. I also tried the restaurant which was also good. All in all a very nice place to stay and highly recommended
