Acacia Desert Camp

We spent an amazing night in the desert with Rashid and Said, our camel tour guides. The Berber Lifestyle camp is an isolated desert camp in Merzouga, that's why we chose to stay here, cause it's far away from other camps, which allows you to see the stars and to enjoy the silence of the desert. This camp is located on the small Merdani dunes and offers good private tents with beds and Moroccan traditional food. We had vegetable tagine with rice and fruits. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an isolated camp far away from other camps in the Merzouga desert. Once again, Thanks, Rashid and Said, for the great experience.

We had an amazing Experience in the desert of Merzouga with Berber Lifestyle camp, the local guides here are very professional and friendly. we got to know a lot of things about Berber people and the desert life from our guide Aziz during our Jeep tour around Merzouga. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the real desert life!

Aziz and his team know this area incredibly well and will share not only their knowledge but also their culture with you. Their hospitality is outstanding and we especially liked that they really respect the place. We did a four day hike traveling like the berber and it was truly special! best stage of our Morocco trip, my children (8.13 years old) fell in love with the desert and the Berber life thanks to Said, Rachid and all the rest of the team. the camel ride with Said was an amazing journey in the dunes and a good fun for the children, magical night under the stars, very well organized camp, thanks again we can't wait to go back.

We booked a night at this camp as a couple and we get an option to ride the camels to the desert camp which was a great opportunity to watch a spectacular view of the sunset on the way to the camp. Said our camel tour guide was very kind and he speaks very good English, we enjoyed the journey by camels with him. and Rachid as well he was very friendly and he served us dinner at the camp. The tents at the camp are very clean and the camp location was the reason that we booked at Berber Lifestyle camp, it's the only camp who is far away from the other desert camp, the food was very delicious we had dinner and breakfast at the camp. We spend a night in the desert of Merzouga at the Berber lifestyle camp during our holiday in Morocco, and it was the highlight of our trip. The communication with Aziz by email was very smooth, and he answered all our questions. he confirmed that we will have vegetarian food as we ordered. The camel trek to the camp across the dunes of Merzouga was an exceptional experience with our camel tour guide and our new friend Said. We are very lucky to have such an experienced guide as Said who was very friendly and helpful. We get to know a lot of information about the desert life and he is also a great musician. The camp is located in a hidden location far away from the other desert camps. once we arrive at the camp we meet Rachid who is working at the camp. He welcomed us with a cup of Berber whiskey ( Moroccan mint tea ). After relaxing, we had a traditional dinner which was very delicious. We had rice with salad, vegetable tagine, and fruits. After the dinner, we joined the campfire where we seat around the fire listening to Said and Rachid playing drums and singing Berber songs, the most of their songs in about the nomadic life. We had a chance to play and dance with the drums rhythm. it was an unforgettable night. We had such a great time chatting with Said and Rachid around the fire while looking at the beautiful starry sky. In the morning we watched the sunrise from the dunes near the camp and we had fun sandboarding in the dunes. After breakfast, we rode the camels back to the Merzouga desert after a great experience. We would recommend this camp to everyone who wants to experience real desert camping with local guides. Thank you, Aziz, Said, Rachid, Thank you Berber Lifestyle camp!
