Firstly the good bits. The staff were very good and friendly, ensuring a very friendly welcome. Alexandra in particular was fabulous. However it was not great after that. We have stayed in three different wineries over the last few years and this was definitely nowhere near as good. Firstly, the whole place looks tired and quite scruffy.I know the design is meant to be different, but we stayed in a similar very modern but simple winery in Argentina. It was on another level. Facilities were very lacking, The two outside loungers (only two) were so uncomfortable as to make them useless. No outside swimming pool either which I would have thought more than desirable.There was a very bad damp smell in our room with mould in the bathroom. We were told this was probably because it had rained that afternoon. Come on !. We are from Ireland and know what post rain dampness smells like, this was definitely mouldy and damp. Dinner was a bit of a joke. We opted for the sharing T Bone steak, but did not realise that we also had to share one bowl of soup and one dessert, very kindly they gave us two spoons!. The food was good but the experience was not anything I have ever encountered elsewhere. On the plus side the wine was good and the location was also good for touring. However based on our experience we could not recommend to others.

Nice view of the vineyards, very friendly and helpful staff, good room service, spacious room and fun design. The positives of this hotel stop here. Maintenance, cleanliness and functionality seem not to be at home at Finca de los Arandinos and that's a pity! The potential would be there, or rather, it was all there! The feeling one gets when entering one of the 'special rooms' is that this hotel has clung on to the day it opened and that little or nothing has been done to maintain it in a certain way, up to the expectations of those who look at the pictures promoting it on their website. Yellowed tiles at the entrance and in the toilet, torn and stained wallpaper in the bathroom, electrical sockets where it is difficult to keep the phone charger in place properly (risk of getting electrocuted), mattresses have been smashed and separated from each other (the sensation is of sleeping on a bunk rather than in a 4-star bed), bed sheets are only laid on the bed and not tucked in, dust in the cupboards and the bottom of the shower encrusted and blackened by mould and you can smell it. In the toilet there is no fan. As far as functionality is concerned, I can understand that the rooms have been designed with a particular concept by David Delfín (see the retractable sink and shower), but, for example, I don't believe that the bed lamps only light up simultaneously for design reasons: if one wants to read, the other will have to sleep with his own light bulb on. Wi-Fi receptivity is very poor and most of the time the mobile phone network works better for surfing the Internet. Frigobar is empty except for a couple of bottles of water and two commercial snacks. Not much for a 4-star hotel. Leaving aside the state of preservation of the terrace floor with wooden planks that bend and risk breaking, I would move on to breakfast: I have seen much richer and more qualitative buffets in hotels with less pretension. The bread looks like the kind you get in supermarkets and the ham looks like the kind packaged for mass distribution. Overall pleasant stay but if it had had three stars I would have expected less and would have appreciated more the design, which still forces you to take a shower practically in the entrance of the room.

Great place for a relaxing weekend with your couple. The integration of the hotel and wine cellar is perfect. The landscape and sunset are something to enjoy. The we staff always try to make your stay a perfect experience and the spa is small but perfect for a couple to be alone.

Hemos estado alojados el fin de semana del 7-9 Marzo. Cogimos un paquete de alojamiento con cena, visita guiada a la bodega y como extra el uso del SPA. Voy a comenzar con la parte buena, que es muy reseñable. La ubicación del hotel entre viñedos y con las vista hacia la montaña y campo es maravillosa, transmite calma y eso es de agradecer. Nos alojamos en una de las habitaciones diseñadas por David Delfín, es un concepto muy diferente al de habitación "normal" de hotel, pero la verdad bastante curioso. El desayuno, aunque no es el típico buffet de otras cadenas, es muy completo, los huevos en cualquiera de sus modalidades recién hechos y con muy buen sabor, zumo natural, que es de agradecer, tostadas, fruta, bollería, muy rico todo. Para la cena teníamos el menu Tierra, todos los platos excepcionales!! El sábado por la mañana tuvimos la visita guiada a la bodega, Roberto fue quién nos hizo esta visita es una persona que transmite pasión y conocimiento por igual, nos quedamos prendados de lo bien que comunicaba y de las experiencia que acreditaba, habíamos estado anteriormente en otras bodegas y la verdad que en esta ocasión ha sido de SOBRESALIENTE. El sábado por la tarde teníamos cerrado el uso del SPA, una hora, y es esto lo que quizás a penalizado la estancia. El SPA constaba de una piscina con diferentes zonas de uso, una sauna, un baño turco y un par de duchas relajantes. De la zona de piscina un tercio de los chorros no funcionaban, el baño turco tampoco estaba en uso, total que apenas utilizamos la mitad de lo disponible. El domingo al hacer el checkout comunicamos la incidencia, ya que en el propio SPA no habías personal al que dirigirnos en el momento del uso, en recepción nos comentaron que otros clientes el día de antes también habían reportado alguna incidencia. Claro al ser un servicio que se paga aparte del paquete de estancia, visita a bodega y cena, pues creímos que alguna atención tendrían con nosotros as la hora de realizar el pago, más aun no siendo los únicos que dimos aviso del no funcionamiento, evidentemente si pagas un servicio pues debes poder hacer uso completo de el, pues la sorpresa fue es que se nos facturó el servicio como si hubiésemos hecho uso de el completamente. Sinceramente hubiese esperado algún tipo de atención comercial en este aspecto, no veo normal que me cobren un servicio no disfrutado.

El spa sigue sin funcionar la mayoría de los chorros, así como el baño turco, cuando comentamos la incidencia en recepción nos dijeron que ya lo sabían , comentario que nos asombró porque no nos lo advirtieron al contratar el servicio y nos lo han cobrado. La cena del restaurante fue decepcionante, ensalada de burrata y te ponen un medallón de mozzarella ,cocochas en salsa verde y el verde era inexistente y de aspecto desagradable. En cuanto a la habitación diseñada por David Delfin, curiosa, pero lo de ducharse dentro del armario bastante incómodo y frío. El desayuno genial.

El hotel es muy tranquilo. Se ubica en un enclave muy bonito.. Las habitaciones diseñadas por David Delfín son particulares. Prácticas y cómodas. Son para clientes que no buscan habitaciones tradicionales con encanto , si no habitaciones diferentes. La mayor baza del hotel reside en la ubicación entre viñas y en el hecho de permitir según época del año, visitar las bodegas. Está muy cerca de Logroño. Personal de recepción y restaurante atento , muy amble y profesional. Desayuno reducido pero de calidad Te hacen huevo, tortilla... etc al momento. Zumo natural. Y café buenísimo. El Hotel es pequeño. No hay parking, se estaciona en el exterior.
