Hengelo city hotel is a nice place to stay. Located in the city center with shops, restaurants and the public transport nearby.

Hengelo is small town where not many hotel choices can be provided. This hotel is very conveniently situated near the train station and also the city centre where you can find the restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The room is spacious with basic facilities.

all is excellent but there was some weird clicking noise in the room occasionally during night which disturbed my sleep Staff is really pleasent and I loved the social games offered in the lobby! We enjoyed the a**osphere there :)

The front desk clerk was so rude when we checked in. Room heater was broken and they wouldn’t change our room after they determined it was broken. Slept in jackets and socks. Location was close to hotels and shops.

I stayed here in 2023 and they have updated the reception area which is very nice. The hotel is very clean, spotless in fact! I chose to return because it’s close to the train station and a nice stroll into town where there are plenty of restaurants. It’s a shame the hotel only offers breakfast and not dinner. That’s why it only gets a very good and not excellent rating. I was travelling alone so would have been nice to eat at the hotel. Having said that it wouldn’t put me off returning.

We like the hotel very much, due to the fact, that it is centrally located. Service is very attentive. The rooms are bright, large and spacious. Breakfast is good with a large selection of fresh ingredients.

Great room for a great price. Hotel rooms are large and very clean. Good shower, nice breakfast. Location also good. In the middle of town. With ample parking spaces across the road. Nothing but praise.

A well-located, charming and cozy experience in the centre of Hengelo, just 2 minutes by walk from the main train station. Hengelo is in gereal a lovely town, and this hotel makes it so easy to circle around. With it's location nearly in the pure centre, all attractions, shops, coffeeshops, breakfast corners were reachable within up to 9 minutes maximum by walking. Charming authentic location for Chris**as time.
