Tried to book a large in the sun pitch online and emailed but no response On arrival receptionist said she remembered my email. Anyway she then kept saying we needed to go in a different pitch even though we said we wanted a sun pitch. Eventually, we were taken to our pitch pass many, many empty in the sun pitches. She had put us the furthest away under the trees between 3 very scruffy permanent pitches. Who were not impressed that we turned up! Back to find help and complained and eventually moved to a large pitch in the sun as I originally requested. However, she had over charged us to go into her pitch and I have yet to hear back with a refund after I emailed them. Plus on booking , they don’t accept the online booking price as apparently it has gone up ! So yet again we were over charged. On whole the campsite looks ok if a little untidy. Nice shop. We didn’t use the restaurant.

Not a great pitch - noisy garage behind us and a sports stadium Very hot and disappointingly although the pool was filled we were not allowed in - pool bat also closed ……. They’re response was there was a beach close by (it was quite smelly as it is a port) On the plus side the showers were amazing and a good base for getting the ferry over to Cádiz Not a site well return to There is an overnight car park near the port if all you want is to visit Cádiz

Site is good with reasonable pitches, some with shade but all on dusty gravel soil. Facilities are spotless, pool has shade but no chairs or beds but supermarket is well stocked although pricey. Noisy at weekends with loud beat music in the distance but midweek quiet. Great location for ferry to Cadiz & local town has bars & restaurants to suit most tastes.

First time staying at camping las Dunas with caravan Great site well run, spacious pitches Very modern toilet shower block Immaculately Clean Good laundry room and washing up / clothes washing area Only one minor comment water in general only just warm enough, especially for showers Staff attentive and friendly Bar / restaurant at the entrance to site Food very nice and great valve Pool closed at this time of year Beautiful beach and long promenade just outside site Mercadona carrefore and Aldi all close by Negotiating the narrow streets to access and leave the site is tricky enough and a one way system is now in place Definitely worth a visit

For some strange reason you are not able to book in advance. You just have take a chance , which is slightly off putting when your driving a 3.5 Ton , 7.3m motor home. We took the chance as the surrounding area is beautiful but we were very disappointed however we did stay the one night as we were tired. You get the feeling that the place is on the make. We asked if we could walk to look at the sites that were free as all the other sites we had visited had done so but were told no. Only in an area by the bins and services was offered and at 46 euros a night that included 11 euros a night for electricity! 11 euros ! When we went to check we noticed an area that seemed free with slightly bigger pitches. Yes , we could go there but that was 54 euros a night! After settling, we walked the camp and found a lot of empty spaces next to where other motor homes were paying only 18 euros a night ! All a bit weird really. It does have good facilities and good shop too. But it’s certainly not worth it.

This site was large and sprawling. The pool has been out of action for much of the year and although the facilities were adequate you had the feeling this was a work in progress. Located opposite the Playa Puntilla claimed to be the best beach in the area. There are good promenades along the beach. A 40 minute walk will take you to the ferry terminal which links directly to Cadiz. Walk in the opposite direction around the site and you are in the town
