Really nice hotel, with its own garden (next to the pool and restaurant) which by its size it could actually pass as a park. We had a Junior Suite that included a large bathroom with two showers, a bedroom, and a small living room; these last two with their own TV screens. The bed was large and comfortable, and there was enough space for our stuff in the closet. The pool was nice and clean, and located under the trees (so you wouldn't burn under the sun). Also we tried the restaurant once for breakfast and lunch, and we were really satisfied. The location of the hotel is also very convenient if you arrive by train (as we did) since it's 5 minutes walking from the station, but also really close to the attractions of the center of the town. Last but not least: The attention was top -Very friendly and efficient staff

5* joke Hotel so so, but not 5* hotel. Very old building, some parts nice. Poor service in restaurant, dirty swimming pool, no sunbeds. We have got recommendation to lay on grass. Terrible. Not for requested money. It was like when parents leave the House, and kids are taking care.

We booked the hotel from new year's eve until January 7, but when we arrived at the hotel 9 pm there were no lights and all doors were locked. We were in disbelief and circled around the hotel several times before admitting to ourselves that the hotel had closed for the holidays without any notice or warning. We managed finally to find another hotel close by for the rest of the night, no thanks to the hotel or ***********. We did get our money back from ***********, but the hotel had explained to them that they were overbooked and had to cancel because of it! Management who doesn't have the decency to inform clients about hotel closure and who lie to their distributor should not manage hospitality business, or any business at all with that kind of ethics.

Estancia de dos noches para descansar y desconectar en un lugar tranquilo. Es un Hotel Palacio del siglo XVIII situado en el centro de la ciudad con un jardín botánico fantástico y una pequeña piscina en un entorno muy acogedor. Me gustó especialmente el patio interior del hotel y la zona de terraza del restaurante con vistas al jardín. Por la noche la iluminación del jardín es una maravilla para pasear un rato. Detalle de bienvenida en la habitación y muy buena atención, aunque tengo que decir que me incomodó bastante que pedí que puse el cartel de NO MOLESTAR y el personal del servicio entró en la habitación con su propia llave tras haber llamado una sola vez a la puerta. Salí del baño con mi toalla puesta a toda prisa y me encontré a la señora accediendo, que se quedó sorprendida y me preguntó si necesitaba algo. No me había pasado tal cosa en mi vida. Por lo demás estuve genial, la habitación tremendamente amplia, el restaurante fantástico y el personal de recepción y restauración muy atentos.

Independientemente del lugar en donde se ubica el hotel, que es una casa palacio con unos jardines maravillosos, destacaría el trato del personal desde la recepción hasta los camareros. Lamentablemente ya es difícil encontrar personas tan amables y profesionales en la hostelería. Para mí ha sido una experiencia estupenda y se merece la máxima calificación. En el aspecto negativo las habitaciones no son de cinco estrellas por la carencia de mampara en el baño o la insonorización, pero son aspectos menores que son absorbidos por todo lo demás. Y no me pidieron tarjeta de crédito al registrarme, práctica tan extendida como irregular declarada abusiva por la OCU.

Casa Palacio de los Duques se Medinacelli . Jardín precioso y habitaciones con mobiliario de la época. Salas con motivos taurinos .Las habitaciones que dan a la calle tienen ruido de los coches o personas que pasan al lado no están insonorizadas. Tiene una luz permanente intermitente en el techo .Así que antifaz ,si te molesta .Cerca del centro .

El servicio, bueno, no quiero llamarlo servicio porque fue un trato tan familiar que nos hizo encontrarnos como en casa. Somos viajeros y en este hotel es en el único que nos dió mucha pena marchar. Espero que siga funcionando, porque seguro que volvemos

Cenamos unos amigos en el restaurante del hotel y la experiencia fue magnífica. El sitio impresionante y muy acogedor, la decoloración de época y el trato del personal del hotel desde el primer momento magnífico. Los jardines son para pasear con el aperitivo y la capilla digna de visitar. La noche nos dejó con ganas de repetir. Muchas gracias por el servicio y la amabilidad. Volveremos sin duda.
