오텔즈 레 올리베레스(Ohtels Les Oliveres)

First time in this part of Spain. Found this hotel by chance on trip.com and everything turned out well. Little known to Asian tourist since we were the only ones there but encourage Asians to visit. Discovered this very family friendly resort in a great location with nice beaches and nature in the surrounding nature reserve. For kids, no need to leave the resort, fun just staying there. For more adventures discover the many beaches lining the coast and the wetlands further beyond.

+ Very clean hotel,rooms are cleaned every dat,they are modern and beds are massive - Hotel is in NOWHERE. Nearest tiny city with cash machine is about 2.5miles + 7 swimming pools and no fights about sunbeds,no need to put a towel at 5am - all inclusive drinks are like water with 5%alkohol + beach is next to the hotel but there is no sand,only pebbles + two local pubs at the sea side with dj over the weekend - food isn’t great! What ever was prepared on lunch will be mixed with sauce for the evening meal. Staff dont speak english so you have to point what is needed. Few of kitchen staff were arogant and were arguing about olives worth less than a euro. +Ali from the front desk at the restaurant was very kind and made us feel welcomed - the entertaining is in the basement,stinks of mould and u can’t breath. Loads of people suggested it should be carried outside the restaurant. 90% of guests are Spanish or French If you are coming withiut kids or looking for a lively place this is a no place

We stayed at this hotel for one week 22/29 August. We had a lovely week . The hotel is great. Very clean and near to some lovely beaches. We were made very welcome by all the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good and varied. Something for everyone. Hotel is mainly Spanish and French guests. Thank you so much to everyone for the lovely service. We returned today from a 1 week stay at Ohotel Les Oliveres and I can only say I wish it could've been for longer. The hotel itself is impressive and kept immaculately clean throughout however our stay was made even better by the wonderful staff who go out of their way on a daily basis, to make your stay even better. From the reception staff, bartenders, lifeguards, restaurant and entertainment staff, I can honestly say I have never been made to feel more welcomed and comfortable. We stayed on an 'all inclusive' package and the food each day was varied and delicious. A stones throw away is a beautiful little pebble beach with stunning views along the winding pathway. Yes, it may be away from the hustle and bustle of some holiday resorts but what you have on offer here is more than enough. We have absolutely loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat. Great Hotel with good facilities. All staff very welcoming, polite and friendly. Good food choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mainly Spanish and French guests, Sunbeds always available, no early towel reservation needed! We had a great holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we went as an extended family of 6 ages from 10-67, all the staff made us feel very welcome, the pools were just excellent very clean plenty of room in and around the pools to relax, the food was lovely ( especially enjoyed the fresh pizzas, delicious) . A huge thankyou to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable, especially the entertainment leader, the manager who was very kind hearted in our time of need. The location is quiet but beautiful with lots of little coves and beaches to discover, would highly recommend

The Hotel was very clean, the food was very good and plenty of it with good choices, the outside area was exceptionally clean with a total of 7 pools which were also very clean and checked daily, and plenty of sun beds. The manager of the Hotel went out of his way to sort us out of a problem which we were in, so top marks for him .also the animation leader was brilliant, and all in all, All the staff.Maids/waiters/reception/animation team and the restaurant doormen, Sorry IF I missed anyone, ALL THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT A Big thanks from Claire Palmer and family, room 139, and Stuart/Trudy Massey room 308.

Amazing holiday especially if travelling with children. So much to do, the entertainment, amusement, pools, activites...so clean and tidy, friendly staff always happy to help, lovely food and endless choice

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the coast but is very remote from anything. I can see the hotel being a 4* in regards to variety of facilities i.e. pools, spa and animation team but the condition of the facilities is a 3* for sure. The evening entertainment is based in an auditorium on the basement level, a tight room that gets VERY hot. This would be better based outside in front of the kids club after the mini disco to allow guests to get drinks (some music playing out there would be nice too). It's great to have a variety of pools but the floors are all chipped resulting in so many cut toes and bandaged feet (our son being one of them). It was very noticeable how many kids were walking around with strapped up toes after he cut his feet. The team set up water activities and once a week inflated a slide in the deeper pool. Lifeguards are based under a shelter throughout the day where kids go back and forth to get plasters for their feet. Only once during water polo around 4pm did I see a lifeguard sit in the chair by 1 of the pools so make sure you supervise your children closely as the pools can become very busy and people jump in regardless of children swimming beneath. The room was a shock with the bathroom having a sliding frosted glass door that left little to the imagination. Although when you wedged the door shut (it would not stay closed on it's own), it left a clear top to bottom section for all to view you sat on the toilet. The bathroom needs a good revamp as was quite grubby but had great water pressure, the best we have encountered abroad. Although big, the beds were quite uncomfortable, leaving us hobbling a little each morning! We were based next to the road but did not hear any traffic at all throughout the stay. There was a great variety of food each day and at each meal time, especially if you enjoy fish. During lunch and dinner a waiter will take your drinks order. It is worth taking a screenshot of what is included in the all-inclusive package as the restaurant and bar vary. We were mistakenly charged 17euros on the first evening as we were not displaying our wristbands clearly enough, so make sure these are visible. As mentioned in previous reviews, the hotel is predominately Spanish & French. We were 1 of 4 English families staying this week and although 2 staff spoke good English, it is worth brushing up on Spanish phrases you may need ahead of time, such as how to order a drink etc. Some of the staff did turn their backs and start talking about 'Inglés' and laugh so I don't think my broken Spanish was up to their standards! There is aircon in the bedrooms and the restaurant but nowhere else in the hotel. As previous reviews have mentioned, the animation team are very good. My son really enjoyed the football that was put on each evening and this was mainly down to the staff member who carried it out.
