오코틸로 인(Ocotillo Inn)

Went to check in at 2.30pm, was told by the guy at reception "check in at 3". I asked to check if any room available so I don't have to wait. He "we are a big facility and we have to go by the rule". I thought I was at MGM Grand or Encore, despite this being a 2 story motel of several dozens of rooms. Facility is old, worn, room smells sewage. Noise from parking lot and snoring from next room were heard clearly.

The property was fine. The evening front desk associate Annabel was very very good. She really helped me out when my reservation was messed up. The morning desk guy very unfriendly. I said hello. How are you? He just looked at me like I had two heads and paid no attention.There was a sign out in the lobby that said breakfast and coffee 630 to 930. There was no breakfast of any kind not even a donut. Don’t advertise it if you don’t do it.. With all that said it was a fine place to stay for one night. it is old and showing it, but I had no real complaints..

Clean affordable close to everything can’t ask for anything more than that I stay in hotels over twenty days a month and you can do a lot worse than this the beds are comfortable but the rooms are a little dated

The room and the mattress were comfortable. Amenities are limited (bring your own shampoo and conditioner). But this is not the place if you need to have Zoom meetings during your stay. The Internet was not sufficient for online work.

The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are clean. This visit we were listening to loud music being played at a home since the hotel is near a residential area. Music played until 3am and then it finally went off. Overall it’s a good place to stay and Denny’s restaurant is adjacent to the hotel.

Room was fine. Free breakfast was cheese,sausage croissant in to-go paper bag. Did not spend a lot of time in hotel. Looked to have nice pool which I did not use. Parking was bit of a challenge as there were a lot of large work vehicles in parking lot.

Have stayed here several times and I love the 24hr Denny’s and 7-11 because it’s all walkable.

The property is cool because of the old cars lurking about. It was fun to walk around the parking lot and view the cars on display. Really the main downside was the check in and check out. When I checked in, the person at the desk was on her cellphone. She could have been doing hotel business I don’t know, but she saw me come in and put the phone down and asked my name. She then handed me the key cards and said here you go, told me the room number, said it was in building two, past the pools. and went back to her conversation on the phone. It was quick, but definitely not personable or informative. Check out was the same. They asked my room number and took the key cards and went back to what they were doing. I assumed there were no more charges and never asked about my stay or anything. The final issue was the breakfast. One of the reasons I booked there was they offered breakfast. I guess they did, they had a small sack in the refrigerator they handed you when you ask about the breakfast. It had a breakfast sandwich and a pastry. They provided a microwave to heat up the sandwich and coffee. That is all. The room was clean, but a bit old.

Bed is a 10. Room overall needs some upgrades. Shower is hot. TV channels are a plus. Very quiet. Dennys and a bar in the hotel. 10% off Dennys is their breakfast meal deal. Area is safe to stay.
