바가 있는 El Baix Emporda 호텔

An excellent stay at this wonderfull ressort, both courses were in perfect conditions, and of the best design. Having one course that is a true links and one in a real forest without the need to take your car (in a covered parking lot) is a real treat ! The hotel offerts nice large rooms, with views. However one drawback, when we were there, is that the restaurant was outside for diner and no bar was offered to enjoy the nicely decorated common spaces. Diners were very well prepared, however the choices are a little restricted.... Other golfs are quite easy to reach, by car...

Beware anyone planning to stay at this hotel should note that its main focus is that of leading wedding venue and this takes priority and that on wedding days you will be a second class guest but you will still charged full price. On the first night the entire place and its facilities were geared towards the wedding guests. We had booked half board but had to eat dinner in the pool restaurant as the main restaurant and bar plus surrounding areas had been rented exclusively to the wedding party which was extremely noisy all evening. The pool restaurant was full of flies and had very little atmosphere. The food was very average for the price. We complained about the flies but the head waiter was dismissive and said there was nothing he could do. Our room was nice but we had upgraded to a room with a balcony which was filthy and the only view was large bushes which stopped the daylight and meant there was no value in paying for it. When we complained to the manager at check out he took the price off the drinks from the second night which wasn’t nearly enough to compensate for our experience. It’s very clear this hotel focussed solely on wedding events. The hotel should not be selling half board packages on wedding days and forewarn guest before booking. Having spent €1000 for two nights we feel completely cheated and would not recommend this hotel, which is sad as we came 10 years ago and loved it.

La habitación es confortable, limpia, cama grande con buen colchón. Lavabo también limpio, espacioso. Armario empotrado, con una pequeña nevera y caja fuerte. Buena terraza con lindas vistas a zona ajardinada. Piscina estupenda de agua salada y muy bien cuidada. Hotel muy próximo a una bonita playa y un camino de ronda precioso para quien le guste caminar. También al lado hay dos restaurantes: uno con menú a precio especial para huéspedes del hotel. En las cercanías hay supermercado abierto en temporada media-alta. Personal amable y atento. Buena relación calidad/precio. Nos encantó el hospedaje.
