Positive: Inside the airport, clean enough, good for one night stay for early flight.
Negative: Small room for two people, sink inside the room.
Ugly: The receptionist on duty created a scene when we arrived around 14.00 hrs. She had a group of guests (6-8) waiting and refused to give rooms as they were not available. She kept walking anxiously here and there, not willing to respond to the guests. And loudly saying that rooms are not available at all.
She mentioned they are being cleaned and they have too many rooms to clean. So despite the booking, they can't be given to guests. I asked her how long we have to wait, she didn't know. She looked completely overwhelmed on seeing 8-10 customers and incapable to do her job.
She mentioned that check in is FROM 14.00 hrs not that you can check in AT 14.00 hrs. So I opened the website and showed her that check in is 14.00 hrs for guests. And it is the customer's choice to arrive at 14.00 or 18.00 or whatever time, not the hotel's. She had no answer to the fact that she was misleading guests.
But yet when one lady came, she made a room available for her.
After 20-30 minutes she gave us the room. During the time she was checking us in, she continuously complained how disrespectful customers are to her. So meaning customer should put up with her incapability and her lack of service to customers. At one point I got so tired of her complaints, I asked her to kindly keep quiet. I have never asked anybody at any reception desk to keep quiet.
All she had to do was apologise and politely request to wait in lobby for 30 minutes.
