We had visited before in 2019 so knew that we would love the hotel and particularly our room 323. However, our visit was blighted by the fact that I became quite ill on the Friday night and by Saturday morning desperately needed a course of prescription medication. Fortunately, receptionist Madelief immediately got on the case, enabled me to speak to a doctor and within a short time I was able to pick up a course of strong antibiotics from the hospital pharmacy. I needed to spend Saturday night in our room (insisted that my other half joined our friends as planned for reunion dinner), but in pleasant surroundings it was not that difficult. The antibiotics had started to kick in, so I drifted in and out of sleep as the dreadful Eurovision Song Contest played out on TV. Thank you Madelief and Lukas for your kindness. Without your help the story might have had a different, not too pleasant ending. Hopefully, we shall be able to return to the Gooiland, to our favourite room, soon.

Staff was very friendly and super helpfull. I felt very welcomed. Big, clean rooms with all facilities needed. The breakfast was very fresh and nice. Good atmosphere both staff and other guests. Very close to shops, station and supermarket.

Amazing hotel! Great staff who went above and beyond every day. Will stay again ❤️ loved the breakfast, bikes available and general Art Deco style. Very clean and lovely area to hang out in downstairs or on the terrace. Kids were very comfortable there and they even made us a picnic on our last day.

Rooms are kind of okay, but the staff and especially Lucas is excellent! People make all of the difference! Other than that the locations is great and parking fairly close. Upon checkout we got bottels of water for our trip and a friendly chat at the r3ception desk

The hotel should at least have the honesty and the guts to state on their website and booking platforms that it is full of asylum seekers. At least 80% of the rooms are occupied by asylum seekers. They hang around in the lobby, on the landing/stairs in front of the hotel and on the street. An EXTREMELY unpleasant feeling. We immediately left. The lady at the reception was kind enough to help us get our money back. When we asked why nothing was mentioned about this during booking, we were told that this was simply a management decision. In short, stay away from this hotel. Buch of scammers.

Nice friendly staff, room we had was a bit basic. The stroopwafels and ten water in the fridge were a nice touch as were the welcoming drinks when checking in. The lift and corridors could do with freshening up as could the room. The towel rail in the bathroom felt like it could fall off the wall! The breakfast doesn’t have a great choice but was adequate.
