호텔 자체는 매우 멋지고, 성격이 가득했습니다. 방은 깨끗하고 깔끔하며 잘 관리되어있었습니다. 가장 큰 문제는 직원 교육이었습니다. 그러나 모두 매우 즐거웠지만 바 또는 레스토랑 서비스를 운영하는 방법에 대한 단서가 없었습니다. 아마도 그들의 잘못이 아닙니다. Stayed here for 3 nights over the June bank holiday weekend. The room was around £310 for 3 nights, which was much cheaper than other hotels based on it's proximity to the city center. The hotel is located about 1 mile from the Royal Mile and there's plenty of busses that stop right outside the hotel heading into Town. The hotel itself was ok. We were given a room on the first floor near the back, which was pretty spacious and comfortable, but it was quite tired looking with a few little issues (only mirror was in the bathroom, there was a stain on one of the chairs, the toilet roll holder was loose, shower didn't get very hot) The room was clean, and a maid did knock everyday to see if we wanted cleaning or extra towels etc. Check in/out was all self service. I was given instructions on how to check in the day before I arrived and this was easy to follow. There are cupboards in the hallway with things like extra tea and coffee, towels, loo roll etc that you can help yourself to. There is an intercom on the entrance door if you need to contact staff (we didn't need to use this during out stay) The hotel advertises 'parking on site' however there is only about 3 spaces. There is free parking on the surrounding roads though. I found the hotel to be quite noisy. Could hear people talking and walking about in the rooms on our floor and above us. The hotel is located on a busy A road, so I think the it could be quite noisy if staying at the front of the house. There's also no breakfast on site, so we walked to a pub down the road that opened for breakfast. Overall the hotel was ok for a couple nights, but if I was in Edinburgh for a longer period of time, I would stay somewhere else.

La ubicación es perfecta tiene la parada de bus a 5 minutos. Coges la línea 27 que pasa cada 10 minutos más o menos y en 30 minutos estás en el centro. Es lo mejor del hotel. El resto es aceptable dentro de los precios que hay... No tiene desayuno ni nada, pero justo al lado hay un Starbucks, una gasolinera y cerca de la parada de bus un supermercado morrisons.

Have just stayed at Alba House for 2 nights and would recommend here to anyone travelling to Edinburgh, as well as definitely staying here again if/when I come back to Edinburgh myself! The b&b is about a 30 minute walk or small bus ride from the centre, but a bit away from all the hustle and bustle too which was nice. Our room was spacious and clean and the hosts couldn’t of been more friendly and helpful, nothing was an issue including even being able to check in earlier than we thought, and also being able to leave our luggage with them too. The continental breakfast was also really big and plentiful and kept us well fuelled up for the start of a day of busy Edinburgh exploring! Thankyou so much for everything!
