We had an excellent night’s sleep at Acer Lodge. Perfect for our family ahead of flying out of Edinburgh airport the following Monday. Good communication from hosts and excellent clean and comfortable room. My young daughter was delighted with the hot chocolate sachet and the fresh milk was a very welcome touch that most places don’t provide. Thank you.

Convenient for airport. Contactless checkin with all necessary info sent in advance. Property on very busy road - loud and continuous traffic noise in our room which was on the groundfloor at front of property. Otherwise a comfortable stay with a lovely cooked breakfast.

Quiet guest house with helpful hosts, good beds, and delicious food. I enjoyed walking through the nearby city park to see Lauriston Castle and Gardens. We were thankful to be able to check in early when we were tired after a long bus journey!

Everything was terrific, including the traditional Scottish breakfast. Good location, roughly midway between city center and EDI airport. Their location is right on a bus route. The room was clean and well thought out. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice, albeit a bit small, but a very good shower made up for it.

Acer lodge guest house is between the citycentre and the airport. Taxi to Princess street is 17 GBP, airport is only 10 minutes with car. Check in is 24 hours, keys are provided through a save at the front door and pincode is provide by mail. Rooms are ensuite and very spacious, beds are comfortable. All is clean, breakfast is also very good.

Great location nice and very clean, very good breakfast. B&B very tidy, owner very nice couple, if going again definitely will stop there's again. Breakfast was very delicious, quite, cosy, ideally left car at parking spot take bus to town. Parking at town very expensive. Don't forget from 1 june low emission zone will start more charging, so leave car take bus

We are currently staying at Acer Lodge and can highly recommend it. The entire place is immaculately presented and the rooms are spotless. Our room came with a mini fridge, bottled water as well as tea/coffee making facilities. The location is great if you are travelling by public transport (15 minutes from the rail station and only £2 a single). The breakfast was very good and they even made allowances for gluten and lactose allergies. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely lovely stay and the hosts are incredible! They can’t do enough for you and very helpful with anything you might need. Great room with all the facilities you could need. Lovely homely touches like fresh milk in the fridge. Location is great, just a short bus ride into the centre that you can catch from outside the guest house.

Avery well presented guest house and a lovely couple running it. If you want a top value trip to Edinburgh the Acer lodge has to be part of it. Only a £13 uber from the centre of Edinburgh its well placed to help you enjoy your visit. Breakfast was outstanding with the proprietors very attentive wanting to make sure everything was as good as it could be. We will definitely be back..
