The Wharf is set in a prestigious gated development in the popular Sovereign Harbour marina area of Eastbourne. This tranquil two bedroom, two bathroom apartment will appeal to those wanting to escape from the hub-bub of modern life. Relax while taking in the marina vista from your lounge or private balcony. With high ceilings and good-sized rooms, The Wharf has a great sense of space throughout and is stylishly furnished. The living space of this second floor apartment is open plan and contemporary in design. The full kitchen includes a gas hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a filter coffee machine. A dining area to one side seats up to four, and the lounge area is positioned by the French doors that open to the balcony - with those all-important water views. The master bedroom offers views over the marina, a roomy kingsize bed and an ensuite shower room. It has plenty of fitted wardrobes and you'll find a travel cot and booster seat stored in one if you're travelling with a tot. The second bedroom is a double and also has a fitted wardrobe, and the guests staying here can use the main bathroom, with a bath and shower over. A small office off the hallway provides a discreet space to set up a computer if you are drawn into work (or any of the guests are avid gamers). WiFi is provided of course. This room has a handy utility cupboard with a tumble dryer, iron, cleaning equipment and stowaway chairs that you can use to sit out on your balcony. There is roadside parking in this private gated development, plus some visitor spaces, so it's easy to park nearby at no cost. There are steps up to the main front door, but if mobility is an issue and you want to avoid stairs, we can provide a code to get into the under building car park so that you can use the lift to get to this second floor apartment. All linen and regular towels are included (please pack your beach towels). In peak season, week long bookings will run Saturday to Saturday, although flexible arrival days and shorter stays are available out of season and last minute. The cafes, bars and restaurants of The Waterfront area are just a short stroll away from this apartment. We particularly like 4Seasons for a bistro-style lunch or Pablo's for an evening Italian feast. The retail park set behind The Waterfront provides handy shopping. A giant Asda is on hand to stock up on groceries, there is a late-night Boots pharmacy and if you fancy a browse for clothes, there is a Next, TK Maxx, Matalan and Sports Direct. Children may veer towards the Smyth's Toys outlet... Eastbourne centre is just a quick five mile drive away, with its theatres, multiscreen Cineworld, Towner Art Gallery and a wider array of shops, restaurants and attractions.About pets:No pets allowed.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.
