After reading reviews I had mixed feelings. On approaching the Hotel which was easy enough to find, however the signage could have been better, I was pleasantly surprised. The car park was clean, and ample amount of parking. Walking to reception I noticed a small queue at the desk waiting to check in. The receptionist on duty clocked me and smiled, which spoke volumes. On checking in Dawn, I believe was her name? She was amazing! The check in was quick and simple and she informed me of everything I needed to know, also upsold me a deal where I get dinner, a drink swell as the breakfast I had already pre-paid. On entering my room (Main Building 115), I was again pleasantly surprised. Yes the bigger part of the hotel needs a desperate refurb, but the room was spacious, very clean and everything I was looking for. The food in the adjoining restaurant, the Beefeater, was amazing! the staff were warm and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable and pillows were out of this world. The next morning I was greeted with Dawn again (does she ever leave the hotel?). everything about my stay at Petersfield went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for a really great stay.

Just returned from a Countryside Getaway-deal, booked directly with the hotel. I booked the wrong date to start with and only realised the day before we were going! Phoned them and it got changed immediately without any issues or additional payment. When we arrived there was no problem checking in. However, as with some of the reviews, we also found the directions to our room were slightly vague. We got lost and seemed to go to the wrong area first, although eventually found it by looking at the sign (which are only clear if you know you’re in that wing!). On entering the room, it was extremely hot, and no air conditioning. There are windows, which would be good if you could open them wide enough to allow for more ventilation. However, something better than nothing. I noticed a fan in the room so assumed the heat had been mentioned previously. The bed was massive and very comfortable, although later found out, this too was very warm, with hot pillows and heavy bedspread. I said to my husband I wouldn’t like to be here in summer and for a bloke who’s always cold he actually agreed! The prices in the sports bar for drinks was ok. We had had a drink in the pub down the end of the track (Deer Inn) before checking in and the price for the identical drinks was the same there as in the sports bar at the hotel so not sure about the comments in other reviews about this. However, we live in South so are used to paying £6-£7 pint. Didn’t eat in the sports car but again prices not overly inflated. We had not booked the restaurant, thinking it was midweek so should be OK. However, at about 7:40pm when we got there, the manager said he could squeeze us in in half an hour, which I thought was very accommodating. We just went into sports bar for a drink. It was starting to get a bit rowdy in there, but nothing like a Wetherspoons rowdiness!!! Returned to the restaurant and was shown to our table. Waitress was very attentive and helpful and took our order for mains (we chose the 2 course option for £29.95 pp). I had the pan fried lamb. Husband had chicken supreme. Both agreed it was the best meal we had had in a very long time. Meat just melted in your mouth. We said we could have eaten it again, it was do delicious. We then both had the lemon tart for dessert. I have to say, not as delicious or mouth watering and certainly not as much attention given to presentation for the desserts. Clearly been sat plated in fridge for a bit and just a small slice on a rather large plate. When I saw the other desserts coming out for other tables they all seemed the same. Shame about this as but didn’t let it spoil the meal. We left there and went back to sports bar, which was less rowdy by this point. Breakfast was buffet style and we arrived about 9am and it is served until 10am. Only crusts left for toast, although I did not ask anyone so these may have been replenished if I had. All food was hot and fresh. Scrambled egg

쾌적한 환경의 시골 호텔. 우리는 도착하자마자 친절한 환영을 받았고 즉시 체크인했습니다. 침실은 크지는 않지만 깨끗하고 편안했습니다. 접수 원은 우리에게 지역 정보를 제공하는 데 도움이되었습니다. 뷔페 식 아침 식사는 대부분의 취향을 충족시키고 영국식 전체에서 시리얼, 과일 및 패스트리에 이르기까지 다양했습니다. 그녀의 양말을 벗고 매우 친절했고 개인적으로 스크램블 에그를 요리해 준 Janet에게 특별한 언급이 있습니다. 그녀는 두 사람의 일을 했고 그녀의 노력과 손님이 환영받고 집에서 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것에 대해 확실히 인정(및 급여 인상)을 받을 자격이 있습니다.

좋은 방과 도움이되는 직원. 관리자는 매우 정중하고 수용 적입니다. 목욕과 샤워를하는 데 매우 유용합니다. 아침 식사는 적절하고 유연했습니다. 우리가 음식을 시도하지 않았기 때문에 레스토랑에 대해 언급 할 수 없습니다. 우리는 미리 경고를 받았고 온라인 리뷰는 17개의 현지 장소 중 15위를 평가했습니다. 마지막 밤에 스플래시 ...과 더블 보드카 & 오렌지 코디얼이있는 와인 한 잔이 £ 20에 조금 충격을 받았습니다. 확실히 다시 거기에서 마시지 않을 것입니다. 우리는이 지역에 있다면 확실히 다시 머무를 것을 고려할 것입니다.
