My stay at Aldrich Guest House was amazing! Robert and Douglass were incredibly friendly and charming hosts, and the house was so cozy and beautiful. My friend and I felt totally at ease there and safe every night. The breakfast was DIVINE - I especially loved the pistachio muffin! The location is also perfection. I could walk to Main St easily and loved that I didn't have to deal with my car. I've already booked another stay for June!

Douglas and Robert are amazing hosts. The Aldrich Guest House is beautiful and incredibly clean. It's perfectly located a few blocks from downtown Galena so you have everything within a short walk but tranquility at night. Highly recommend.

We have visited Galena several times over the past ten years, but this was our first time staying at the Aldrich Guest House. Every aspect of our staff was truly memorable. The historic home is beautiful and well maintained. The innkeepers, Robert and Douglas, were friendly, engaging, and treated us well. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Staying at the Aldrich Guest House was just outstanding and made our anniversary trip perfect! Robert and Douglas are wonderful and kind innkeepers and do all they can to make your stay comfortable. The food is delicious and we loved the cocktail hour with snacks. The rooms are clean and spacious and the walk to Main St was very easy. We loved everything about our stay and cannot wait to go back again!

The house is beautiful and welcoming! Our room was comfortable with quality bedding and high end toiletries. The food and drink were delicious and recipes were shared with us. We appreciated the owners’ suggestions on where to eat and what to see! Before leaving, we were gifted a delicious treat for the ride home. A great experience!

Had a fantastic weekend here! The house was immaculate and the the food was wonderful. Could not have asked for more pleasant and attentive hosts who were so knowledgable about the history of the house and the town. Highly recommended with zero reservations!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Aldrich Guest House. The historic home within walking distance to main street, spotless guest rooms, delicious breakfasts, and complimentary afternoon cocktails and appetizers made us big fans, but the REAL value in staying at the Aldrich Guest House are the knowledgeable and welcoming innkeepers, Douglas and Robert. From their dining recommendations to their entertaining stories about life in Galena, they were the perfect hosts. We can't wait for our next stay!

When you arrive you get the best welcome from both hosts! They show you around and give you all the information you need for your stay. You are then taken to your room where they leave you to enjoy your time there. Our room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the room had plenty of space so you didn’t feel like you didn’t want to hangout there. The snacks and drinks during social hour were great but the breakfast was TOP TIER!! I can for sure say we will be back again!!!

Wonderful location and great place to stay and enjoy the nature . The breakfast is wonderful and fills you up for the morning activities. Doug and Robert give informative suggestions for dining and activities to do in the area. I highly recommend the Aldrich House.
