What a thoroughly great place for a bite to eat! Great location (worth the shot drive from Blackburn), Great menu which was matched with equally great food. Most of all was the service. All staff were great but the lad that was once the chef was fantastic. Mother is a bit iffy with her food (dairy and wheat intolerances) but the options for her were vast as they really cater for these issues. Probably the best choice mother has ever had at a restaurant. We all loved the food and the service. Very decent prices (for Aberdeen). Looking forward to returning soon. Many Thanks.

We had a lovely stay at the Pinehurst. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was excellent with an interesting menu. We also enjoyed sampling the great selection of whiskies at the bar.

We all really enjoyed our visit to the Pinehurst. It was really difficult choosing what to eat as the menu had fantastic choices but we were all really pleased with what we chose as it was delicious. Had a great laugh with the bar staff when paying too. Great to have some fun.

Exceptional hotel rooms are beautiful especially the two apartments. Home from home. Food is amazing as are the staff so friendly and welcoming. Could not fault anything in hotel. Lovely decorated cleanliness exceptional. If I could award more than 5* I would. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had a really disappointed dinner. We weren’t seen to until 20 minutes after our arrival with our food not coming for an hour. We had to change our glasses 3 times as they were dirty and had severe red wine stains. When our order was taken we had asked for a few adjustments which weren’t noted down and none of them adhered to when the meal came. Some as simple as no peas or fries instead of chips. My husband’s meal didn’t come with what it had stayed with missing parts of the meal and when this was brought up there was no resolution it was just: chef is having a mare! Found the staff really inattentive and we were really disappointed with our experience.

On arrival our booking had not been registered, however we were seated quickly. The waitress took our order for drinks, and the order came back incorrect but was changed, it can happen, but when the drink was returned again I had asked for a small glass of juice for my child and was given a pint twice but let it go. We sat for a good 10 to 15 munutes so I went to the bar and asked if our food order could be taken and was asked to wait for a further 5 mins as there was a big table of around 15 that were having their orders cooked before they could put ours through, I found that strange as there was that group of 15 us and 2 other table with 2 people at each table and she asked them to wait too cut a long story short our order was finally taken and when the food came it was very disappointing, over cooked mostly and my daughters food was very greasy. I have always had lovely food and good service previously but was very disappointed today and spent 2 and a half hours for a lunch by the time we got our food and ate it. Sorry but wont be rushing back.

If you're looking for a work-trip-appropriate hotel, it's adequate. If you're looking for a nice or romantic stay on a vacation, would definitely suggest looking elsewhere. Located in the middle of the "near-Aberdeen" industrial area, it's far from a picturesque location. Certainly, it's not near any nice dining, walking paths or cultural/historical areas to wander through. If you have a car and you're looking for a lower-priced, clean, hotel - perhaps it would be fine. Would consider it the North American equivalent to a Holiday Inn, both from hotel room features, location and on-site dining. But, will give it points for being very clean, outdoor areas well-kept and very helpful and friendly on-site staff.

We hadn’t been here for a while but we will be back and shouting from the rooftops to everyone about the excellent service, mouthwatering plates of food and relaxing ambience in the restaurant. Great to see Elaine still at the helm and running the show effortlessly. 10/10 on all fronts.
