In terms of hardware: it may be necessary to dismantle and rebuild a hotel; in terms of software, it is necessary to fire the existing front desk staff and recruit some guys. If you do not plan to rebuild the hotel, the following questions need to be paid attention to by the hotel manager: 1. Can the water pressure of the shower be increased, and the shower water for bathing seems to be not as strong as the occasional rain in the Middle East; 2. Can the waitress at the front desk learn to smile? The customer does not owe the hotel usury, and the customer is not a fugitive. 3. We can understand that the maintenance cost of the room is high, but at least the light in the bathroom should be fixed. bathing in the dark is not everyone's favorite thing.

The hotel has fantastic view of the lake. The food was great. Chef Prajeesh Prasanth was especially exceptional. The hotel staff are friendly. General Manager Zulkifl Bhatti and Deputy Daler Zurbekov are highly proactive. The hotel has good facilities for large sized events.

I stayed several times in this hotel in the past and always had great experience with the overall service. However, this time was quite shocking experience for me. The 1st three days no one would come and clean the room before noon. I had to call them and request for room cleaning. The 2nd issue was with the towels, yes they were replaced every day however the bath towels had very unpleasant odor/smell. The 3rd experience is related to food and beverage, in one of the mornings, I decided to skip my breakfast however wanted to have 2 croissants for take-away with me and I asked the staff in the restaurant if they could pack 2 croissants for me. He said it is not permissible for free, if I want, they can pack it and it will be charged to my room as a room service. Honestly, I was really astonished, I have never seen such approach in any hotels in the world. Last, but not the least, is related to Coffee Bar at the restaurant. During my whole stay in this hotel, I used the coffee bar almost every day buying cappuccino. Every time I had to urge the Barista to clean the milk pitcher and milk steamer. They were pouring the milk into a used pitcher and sometimes with the leftover milk. when I commented they were saying that it is fresh and just recently used. the same with the milk steamer, I would find them unclean every time.

After going through hotels in Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Penjikent, we were fearing that we’d never get to see a modern (by Western and East Asian standards) hotel on out Silk Road vacation. So we were pleasantly surprised with the Hyatt Regency in Dushanbe. The lobby was large, high-ceilinged, airy, and exuded a professional business class. Actually, most of the guests we saw were indeed professional business types. Even the staff exuded a professional but courteous air. Breakfast fare was pretty good, as you would expect of an international chain. But the hotel did sit alone – it looked hard to go around on your own. The room was decorated in a very modern style and typical of a Hyatt Regency. All the cabinets opened and closed effortlessly, there were so many modern accent lighting that you got spoiled for choice, and the room was large enough to spread two large luggage fully open side by side. A few bits were missing – shoe sponge, pens, envelopes – but that’s nitpicking. Room temperature was very easy to control.

Hotel has a prime location near the city center. Room is top cleaned. Food is tasty. I loved the "aka osh" there. Frontdesk and all personnel are extremely kind, efficient and helpful. Management is doing an excellent job maintaining high service quality standards and providing a great guest experience. Specially thanks to Mr. Bhatti who knows how to turn complaints into compliments. Looking forward to visit again the property in my next trip to Dushanbe.

best view and best location. enjoy spa including indoor pool and good refreshment for dinner. you can walk or run around the lake in the morning and get fresh air. good place to invite partners for the coffee or meeting.

The room was nice. The bed was really comfy and the bedding high quality. The views from the room were beautiful. It’s unfortunate the smog blocked the view of the mountains. We had one day where I could get a pick of the outline but I could imagine on a clear day the view would be even more magnificent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not to be missed. It was delicious and a huge variety of items.

Excellent place to stay for a business trip. Fast service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent selection of food, nice strong coffee, easy to get taxis. Also, the nearby lake/ pond offers great opportunities for a quick morning walk/ jog.
