Very comfortable bed, very clean duvet and pillows etc, very lovely staff, very lovelely breakfast, very lovely location. We could not have had a better experience.

This is such a gem of a place. The location is absolutely bang in the middle of town, by the church, and parking is not too hard. Lovely, friendly staff, nothing could be too much trouble. They were very accommodating and flexible with all our demands and changes of room for a large group. An excellent night's sleep was had, as well as a lovely lunch and a really great breakfast.

Stayed here for three nights while on family business on Exmoor. The owners and staff are very friendly, helpful and happy to oblige. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable and we found the somewhat dated decor and furnishings to be in keeping with the general area and added a certain charm to this historic building. The curry on a Tuesday evening is not to be missed - we have already booked a return stay for next month.

Front off house Peter , was a great host , friendly and polite on arrival and through our our couple of days stay. Pizza and curry where a great option and really good value for money. Breakfast was good set us up for the day. Only one slight negative bedroom and bathroom could do with a little update , a bit of paint and re grout the tiles in bathroom would up the place even more than what it is now. Great couple of days well worth what we paid and will be back if we are in the area again.

We had dinner on two nights and were impressed by the quality and presentation of food. Prices are more reasonable than in other Dulverton venues with a two course dinner at £23 (not open lunchtimes). We were brought an Amuse Bouche on the house. Strangely it was very quiet on both occasions. Tables are a good size and with plenty of space between. Would recommend. German owners.A pleasant experience

I stayed at this historic hotel whilst on a bicycle tour across Exmoor. The hotel has obvioulsy been there for many years and the owners are in the process of revitalising it. I had a very comfortable stay with a great breakfast. It has a great deal of character which you don't find these days.

A good stop on our Lands End to John o’Groats bike ride in the beautiful village of Dulverton. Excellent room with bath and shower. Comfy bed. Nice pizzas. Good cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, looking after our bicycles.

Perfectly located in the middle of Dulverton. Very welcoming family run hotel. Bed very comfortable and room spotless. The food is excellent, we had an evening meal there was plenty of choice and it was well presented and delicious. The breakfast was one of the best I have had, all home cooked and good quality ingredients. Would definitely stay there again.
