Our room, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, worked perfect for 3 adults and 3 kids. So nice to have a hotel that has family size suites. The waterpark was a hit with the kids. The life guards were VERY diligent about monitoring the pools. They walked around each pool circumference at least every 3-5 minutes. Trenton, at the snack bar was extremely helpful finding a lost item, and he contacted the front desk for us to make sure a crib had been delivered to our room. Breakfast was provided. It was adequate. They certainly could use a second pancake machine. There was always a line waiting for a pancake. The kids loved the whipped cream, sprinkles and other toppings for their pancakes. We never used the arcade. But the outside pool, hot tub, play ground and miniature golf kept us all busy. The landscaping outside in the pool/play area, is in dire need of some attention. There are s’mores offered each night outside at 8 pm. Housekeeping staff was very flexible around the kids nap schedules. This is an older hotel, but the price, amenities, friendly helpful staff, great location, views of the lake, large adjacent parking lot make this the perfect kid friendly hotel to stay at in Duluth.

Hotel room was way too expensive for what we got. We booked a 2-bedroom 2 bathroom room. The best part was the view off of the balcony. Absolutely no coffee in the hotel until 7am and it was horrible tasting. No pool unless you buy water park bands. Hotel definitely needs some updating and cleaning. Will not be going back. Wish I would have picked someplace else for my daughter’s birthday.

Me and my daughter came up gor Mea weekend. Had great weather. The only thing that i was unpleased with is they ran out of food. The night we arrived and no breakfast in the Morning. The room was nice and the water park was nice. People sometimes ruin things. Cant really do much about careless people. They were booked out completely.

We have been here the last 3 years for my daughter’s birthday. The cleanliness and overall upkeep of the facility seems to progressively get worse. The stairways were filthy with the same garbage the entire weekend. The carpet in many of the hallways is ripped to the point that it is a trip hazard. The entry way that we were told to use has the flooring all cracked and coming up. The tiles in our bathroom this time were also cracked and coming up. There were pills of some sort on the floor behind the bathroom door. Thermostat didn’t properly work. Balcony had rusty railings, peeling paint, and a light that didn’t work. Waterpark also needs maintenance and upkeep. For what they charge for a room on top of having to pay for the waterpark per day, I expected better.

This could be a great place. I think for 200.00 a night just for a room no extras my bathroom,ceiling and balcony would be clean. The lobby and hall ways and carpet need a good cleaning. The view from our room was great and the staff was very friendly

Hotel room was unreasonably far from the parking lot/ entrance. The room was beside the noisy elevator/ice and vending machine. The air vents were full of dirt/mold. Stains on the carpet, curtains and lamp shade. The grout on the tub needed scrubbed. The only thing that was clean was the bed, toilet and sink.
