A fantastic location overlooking the beautiful town of Saumur. A well appointed room with friendly, efficient staff. A fair amount of parking which is really useful also. Would recommend taking a drink on the balcony of the bar/restaurant.

We loved this place. Had paid for a river/chateau view and it was beautiful especially soon after sunrise. The king bed was very big and the separate toilet bathroom a great benefit (more hotels should have this arrangement). Easy access to the town, motorway and Loire region as a whole. Great breakfast buffet with the same river view and the outside deck was the perfect place for a pre dinner drink. Staff efficient but not “in your face”. Wonderful stay

Nice location, clean and generally ok, let down by the attitude of some of the staff particularly at night. Night staff were rude, objectionable and lazy. Any request was treated with surly distain and with one elderly member of our group, ridiculeI! I have never experienced such belligerence in hotel staff it was a disgrace. It let down other staff in this hotel who were great, but on this basis I would never come back to this hotel again.

Planned a trip next month, however I am absolutely horrified to read the reply of the hotel general manager to a review of one client on TripAdvisor. It's rude, arrogant and so unprofessional. Being a platinum member myself I feel like the elite status is hated by this hotel management.Accord should really consider removing this person at this important job since Loire valley is a showcase destination in France and this strategically located hotel is an window of french hospitality.

The hotel is located directly on the Loire and offers a brilliant view of the river and the city. The reception was very nice and hospitable. Our room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The breakfast was acceptable. The only downside was that the underground car park was a bit too small for our medium-sized car and our nerves, so we had to use the hotel's own outdoor car park, which was about 200 metres away.

Our stay was excellent and the staff were friendly and rooms excellent with splendid views across the river. Breakfast was excellent and room service very nicely made. Location is exceptional - only downside was ongoing roadworks restricting parking but we found a spot.

Very well situated hotel on an island in the river with easy walking access to the heart of Saumur across one of the city bridges. Great views across the river of the chateau, beautifully lit at night. We thought the premium rooms were very good value for the price charged, comfortable and well equipped and with the full benefit of those views. Parking might look problematic at first but go in and ask and you'll find there is a car park just around the corner from the hotel.
