Albatross B&B Dornoch

Central, but quiet location within walking distance of restaurants. Nicely presented room, fitted with super king size bed with plenty of space to spare. Good size, clean and smart bathroom. Excellent tasty breakfast. Matthew and Queila were delightful hosts. We heartily recommend the Albatross.

Dornoch is a wonderful place & the Albatross is an excellent B&B. The whole place is spotless and really well designed. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast is superb. Matt & Quelia are great hosts and really looked after us. If you are also golfers, this is an ideal base to explore the very best links golf courses in the world.

Had a brilliant long weekend in Dornoch. Matthew is a warm and enthusiastic host with a depth of knowledge about the local area in general and particularly the golfing opportunities. Clean, comfortable and a very good breakfast.

We visited Dornoch in early December and we were given a very warm and friendly welcome to the Albatross. Immaculately clean, a fantastic breakfast service and very comfy beds! Special thanks to Matthew for all the tips on what to do. We will be back!

This beautiful old house on the edge of town has an interior that has been completely redone in a contemporary style. The breakfast room is a piece of art! The breakfast was equally good. Our host also gave us some good suggestions for dining options. We particularly liked Luigi. If you go there make sure you reserve in advance. The location was great, away from the noisiest part of the town centre, but it was still only about a ten minute walk across the entire town to the golf course.

What a charming little B and B. Superb breakfast, Spacious rooms and possibly the cleanest hotel bathroom I have ever been in. The couple that run it are extremely kind and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. Fantastic value for money. Will certainly come again.

Very warm welcome from host. Room clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Bed linen was so soft and really made for a good night sleep. Dinner at the Castle Hotel was very good. Breakfast was delicious and a nice touch of cheese scones to help our journey was a welcomed thought. Thank you.
