Hotel location is very good, close to a supermarket, many restaurants and the subway station. Like some others have mentioned, soundproofing isn't enough noise from surrounding hawkers was heard during late night and early morning. The hotel building is small, so it seems all rooms are facing the main road. Room was of adequate size and nicely appointed, nice for short stay but not for long stay, due to lack of storage space (no safe and no freezer), and no proper working desk for business travellers. Being a small hotel means facilities are minimal, again fine for a short stay.
Check-in staff was EXTREMELY RUDE, particularly to guests holding non-PRC identity cards. The system was not able to automatically scan an old (but still valid) travel document, and the staff was extremely rude, and even attempted to ask the guest to leave. The same scanning problem did not occur in other hotel, so probably more trainings required to check-in staff regarding travel documents and their manner.
