Not sure why this hotel gets so many poor reviews. It is a standard Campanile outside of Epernay and is perfect for a quiet nights rest with restaurant on site. You can drive into Epernay which has excellent parking during the day to do the sights and is also handy for a drive through the fabulous vineyards, one of which is right next to the hotel. The rooms are standard motel type and, as with all Campanile they have a brilliant shutter you can wind down that eliminates all light. Yes the facade needs a coat of paint but inside the rooms are fine. I was particularly impressed with the manageress. Our toilet ran continually and she immediately came to the room, accessed the cistern and replaced a washer. Brilliant service - I hope the company appreciates her.

Sadly this hotel has deteriorated badly since our last trip several years ago, we would never go again. Outward bound on Sunday night no dinner available so required a 70 euro return taxi ride to the nearest reasonable restaurant. On our return trip restaurant open but the food was pretty appalling, a steak and mushroom stew was like dishwater. My chair back snapped and almost broke my neck as I flew backwards off it,not even an apology. Rooms both OK for the price so could be OK if you don't need food. Seem to be making up for the lack of happy tourist returners with Bulgarian grape picker gangs.

I booked this hotel for a four day stay with some friends. I took a single room. The room was nice and clean. A water cooker and some tea or instant coffee can be made in the room. Rooms a the back are very quiet given the hotel is next to a bussy road. The reception is in the restaurant next to the hotel where breakfast is also served. Breakfast consists of a choice of fruits, ham, bacon, scrambled egg, sausages, croisants, ..... along with coffee, tea and a selection of fruit juices.

Great location in Champagne, 8 mins from Central Epernay and close to Hautvillers. They served a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are tiny and not well ventilated. Plenty parking. The hotel is best described as a ‘motel style’ vibe. Value over luxury.

Un Campanile bien tristounet pour un vendredi soir. Nous avions prévu de souper à l'hôtel pour éviter d'avoir à ressortir, mais pas de chance le restaurant est fermé le vendredi soir. Cela se comprend avec le nombre de clients (voiture dans le parking). Côté hébergement, rien de spécial, c'est un Campanile. Cependant, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, car le thermostat du chauffage était hors d'usage. La deuxième chambre avait bien une régulation de la température, par contre la chasse d'eau ne fonctionnait pas! Le personnel a été sympathique et surtout très réactif à nos petits problèmes. Petit-déjeuner avec un large choix et avec des produits frais.

Nous avons passé une nuit avec un groupe dans cet hôtel: accueil sympathique, hôtel bien situé pour sillonner la Champagne. Chambre correcte, bonne literie, environnement calme. Bon service pour le repas du soir, apprécié de tous. Très beau buffet de petit déjeuner. Les pique-nique du lendemain préparés par l'hôtel ont été appréciés par tous les randonneurs. Un très bon rapport qualité-prix.
