I had a wonderful Stay during my trip to Kodaikanal from Dec 2024. I had a bed in mixed dorm. * They host a campfire every evening, which is a fantastic way to unwind and meet people. * The tamil manger were incredibly warm and welcoming. They took great care of the guests and handled any issues promptly, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. * The view from the Zostel's common room was absolutely breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

I had Good Amazing experience, very good staff were trained attentive every need andenough to get me out of the situation very quickly. The Clean rooms and washrooms, definitely would recommend to bachelors or fun loving groups, even the beds are comfy! It’s in half an hour of walking distance from the Kodai lake, so it is accessible from the city as well. They have a cafe as well downstairs, so if you want a fun staycation solo or with your friends

It was a brilliant experience. My first solo trip wouldn't have been half as interesting if I hadn't decided to stay at Zostel! I met interesting people and had great food here. The beds were clean, the common room was full of activities, and despite there being quite a few people, the entire place remained absolutely peaceful. I totally recommend it!

It was good night stay in zostel Zostel Kodaikanal is situated at a beautiful location. A little far from the main town but absolutely worth it. The picturesque view, hospitality, food everything was 10/10. We stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm. The roomies were quite chill, we hung out a bit. We only tried their breakfast but it was really yum. It could get pretty crowded for food. The demand is high, so is the waiting period. Worth it, nonetheless. They also have taxis outside of the hostel which you can book for your day tour. Everything was great except the setting of 6 bed dorm.

The stay was very awesome. Food was really good. We need to place the order via QR and once order will be ready they will call you back. Staff is also really good and very supportive. Bonfire in the night is like cherry on cake and I have also met with some new friends over here.

The best thing I like about any Zostel is the crowd. It helps me to relive my carefree hostel days. In Zostel Kodaikanal, we literally stayed up till late night over the bonfire and were having nice conversations with strangers. I am pretty sure this would not have been allowed in most other accommodations allowing families. I went in the middle of monsoon and the weather went very chilly. For some reason, the private rooms became very chilly as well at night. Other than that I faced no other issue. The property was great with a sloped lawn and a beautiful common room. The dorms were arranged around the common room and the private rooms were present downstairs near the mess. I personally liked the food options in the mess and found the prices also reasonable. The cutest thing on the property was the pet dog Luna who was extremely friendly and we all loved having her around. Highly recommend the place to young people. However, the property being a little away from the centre of town, might not be suitable for people looking to stay at the town centre.
