We had an excellent stay at Didier Meril. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff at the front desk were all so welcoming and happy to help. The efficient cleaning staff, too, were patient and friendly. Entering our room on the top floor, we were astonished at the breathtaking view over the bay; what a view to wake up to every morning! But also the clear shower cube and wonderful soaking tub were wonderful surprises. The room was clean, very nicely appointed, and the bed comfortable. The hotel is out of the fray of the touristic areas but is a short beautiful walk to downtown. There is also a great little boulangerie across the street, and an outdoor restaurant on the beach below. Our stay in Dinard was made even more memorable thanks to Didier Meril and we will gladly recommend it.

Stayed two nights with breakfast each morning and dinner one night. Room 6 was an attic room with a great view across the bay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom marvellous use of space and an outstanding shower. Breakfasts were plentiful but perhaps not for the calorie conscious. However great launch pad for much dog walking in Dinard, Saint Malo and Cancale. Our meal on the Wednesday night was superb and fun to read the menu from an I-pad. We chose the two different gourmet menus, one of us had carpaccio and then the beef and the other had beef cheek followed by the veal. Both of us had the cheese from the magnificent cheese trolley and then the pear and almond dessert. We chose a couple of Languedoc wines that were both excellent and very good value, as many of the wines from there are. Finally the young serving staff were very enthusiastic, pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a great evening overlooking the Baie de Prieure

I read a moaning review complaining about the unsuitability of this hotel for small children. I agree, but don't blame the hotel, trying doing your research properly. Also, why go to France and expect everybody to speak to you in English? Our hotel suite no. 7 was wonderful, with 2 balconies overlooking the Plage du Prieuré, the seawater swimming pool and the sea. Very beautiful. The food prepared by Patron Didier Meril was between good and wonderful depending upon which dishes you choose. None of the food was disappointing. and the restaurant, I suggest, is verging on gaining its first Michelin star. The only slight difficulty experienced was with my wife's requirement for gluten free food at breakfast - no problem with the other meals. The promised porridge (flocons d'avoine) did not materialise until the last two days of our 6 day break. We would certainly return with great pleasure. Dinard is a lovely and beautifully maintained town.

Excellent hôtel avec une vue imprenable. Une équipe aux petits soins pour l'accueil comme pour le service Nous avions pris la chambre Adela, magnifique, décorée avec goût et un savant mélange de moderne et de respect des lieux. Nous avons pris la soirée avec le menu plaisir, un vrai régal pour les papilles. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec de nombreux produits locaux et variés otite difficulté à stationner, il faut aller directement autour de l'église. Nous reviendrons bien vite

Trois nuits au total. Belle chambre spacieuse et bien decoree. Literie parfaite. Vue exceptionnelle sur la baie de Prieure et sa plage. Personnel tres aimable et courtois. Parking aise (si patient...). Un peu eloigne du centre mais calme assure! Acces a la chambre un peu complique (pas d'ascenseur) par un escalier ardu (devrait peut-etre etre mieux signale sur le site pour les personnes agees ou PMR). Une belle adresse a retenir ! On reviendra.

Hôtel très bien situé pour se rendre à la plage et au centre ville de Dinard. Nous étions dans une chambre spacieuse, confortable et très bien équipée, avec d'un côté, la vue sur mer et de l'autre, la vue sur la place. La salle d'eau était équipée d'une douche. Je recommande cet hôtel.
