We stayed here for two nights in Late August. We very much liked this hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet. The owner was a very nice man who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. Staff were helpful. The hotel is located on a main square in the old part of town, which was great. The hotel has a back garden overlooking the old city walls. This back garden is a perfect place for a glass of wine on a summer afternoon. Breakfast is excellent. We would stay here again.

We booked a room overlooking the Place Duguesclin for a 3 night break. The room does not have air conditioning but a large fan was provided which together with the nature of the stone walls made the room perfectly comfortable in 29`C heat. There was a separate toilet and bathroom within the bedroom which was clean and contained everything you would expect in a small 'boutique' French hotel. The large double bed was very comfortable for a great night's sleep. The staff were helpful, friendly and fluent in english. The exterior garden overlooking the ramparts was a bit of a bonus for a quiet afternoon drink away from the hustle of the main tourist streets across the square. There is a tiny 4 person ( 2 with luggage) lift to take you from floor to floor which is helpful to avoid the stone stairwell. The central location of this hotel is great the only real issue is parking if you come with a car. You have to time your arrival to avoid the busiest part of the day - or simply be very patient driving in circles around the car park waiting for someone to leave. Once you are in Dinan there are a myriad of places to eat and souvenir shops to visit. I highly recommend a walk to Lehon and then along the river Rance back to Dinan up Rue Jezual, visiting all the little artist galleries along the way. The Port du Dinan is also a lovely spot for a glass of wine and to watch the boats go by. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Par chance il restait une chambre familiale de libre pour nous héberger en catastrophe suite à une défaillance d'un propriétaire peu scrupuleux sur Booking. Nous avons donc pu séjourner 4nuits dans le bel hôtel d'Avaugour Accueil charmant. Solution de rechange idéale proposée pr le manager de l'hôtel. Chambre confortable et spacieuse. Très bonne literie. Personnel charmant et très attentionné. Toujours souriant. Buffet de petit déjeuner très varié. Produits frais. Le jardin donnant sur les remparts est un véritable joyau. Localisation idéale proche du centre ville par ailleurs très joli. Je recommande vivement.

Venue en pleine après-midi pluvieuse dans le centre historique de Dinan, le cadre est idyllique pour prendre un chocolat au bar. Le jardin donne sur les remparts face au jardin des petits diables et est constitué de jolies fleurs

Jardin exceptionnel et magnifique proche du centre face aux remparts. Accueil très agréable et j'ai pu prendre un café face à ces merveilles. Le propriétaire m'a autorisé à prendre un café ce qui est fort sympathique
