We had a private hire meal for a group of 13 for a friend's 40th birthday. The venue is beautiful and requires very little dressing (they provided the linens and candles). The food was very tasty, fresh, well presented and reasonably priced. A big shout out to Zoe and Kimbereley who went above and beyond to look after us. They are brilliant and Zoe makes the best brownies I've ever had! I haven't stayed overnight (yet) but have seen some of the rooms and they are stunning. They have a cute garden too. I would definitely recommend for private hire and for their pop up restaurant nights (I've been to a few!). The Coachouse is a definite gem of Derby!

Nice unique place, we were in the twin room which is quite small and the view isn't great BUT the host was lovely, the garden very nice to relax in and free brownie and pretzels :) the breakfast was amazing. Would recommend

My parents got married in May at The Coach House. The venue and team made a very special day incredible. Great communication up to the day, multiple visits beforehand and conversations from over 300 miles away. The ceremony was perfect. There were plenty of food choices for the set menu and it was delicious on the day. The room looked beautiful throughout. Some music and plenty of drinks from a cute well stocked little bar. Every guest said how much they enjoyed themselves (there was twenty six of us) and what a friendly environment it was. The garden looked full of colour and naturally stunning. Nothing was to much trouble and we'd definitely recommend. Special thanks to Kimberly, Zoe, the lad behind the bar (forgotten his name due to all the cocktails!) and anyone else working behind the scenes! A great choice for a small, intermediate wedding 💒

We recently stayed at The Coach House as we were going to my sons wedding at The West Mill. We booked all 6 rooms for 2 nights. Right from the very start (booking) through to checking out the service and communication was excellent. All the rooms were very spacious and spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and if the weather is good there is a lovely outdoor area. Some of the guests changed accommodation after the first night and the staff ensured the rooms were cleaned and ready for our new guests so they could check in a get ready for a 1-30 wedding. All of our party were really impressed and would definitely return. The complimentary brownies were excellent. Thank you so much to all the staff at The Coach House for looking after our friends and family. Would highly recommend The Coach House.

The upstairs room in the stable block is beautiful, and we had a lovely stay. We walked into the city for dinner at Bistro Pierre which we'd recommend too - great food and a nice atmosphere. Oh, and breakfast was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if we have the chance

The Coach House is a hidden gem. Our room was beautifully decorated , the bed was extremely comfortable and it was so quiet. Our room was nestled in a gorgeous garden with a seating area to sit and relax in. The breakfast was 5 star and the staff couldn’t do enough for us.
