Bluegreen Vacations the Breakers, an Ascend Resort

this facility was very nice with friendly staff and great view of ocean. the area was easy to navigate with some very good eating places. There were lots of places to visit , plenty of walking trails and lots of history .

The resort and 2 bedroom unit size were wonderful. The indoor pool is more like a children's pool, very small and shallow and far away from the outdoor hot tub. Not user friendly. For Families vacationing in the Winter, and expecting a good size regular pool for swimming, this is not the place for you. Also, you can hear your neighbors very clearly, both the neighbors on your side units and definitely neighbors above you! The access to the beach is wonderful and the place is clean and well-stocked. No kitchen burners for cooking, so bring your own 2 burner stove top and pans if you want to cook anything that can't be microwaved.

I'm not sure what else to say I enjoyed dot coffee machine. It had like 25 choices. Nice beach I walk there everyday plenty of stores in beaches in the area church was available near grocery store when to antique shops and second hand shops.

Super convenient location - on/across from beach. Multiple pool options great for kids. Walking distance to Sundae School and Wee packet. We got a deal on Redweek for a 1BDR unit. We were in building 7 which is across the street from the beach. It was 1-2 flights up to the unit (no elevator). Inside, there is a is a small living area, kitchenette (coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes. Mini fridge. No oven or range), small bathroom and a balcony on the first floor. There is a tight spiral staircase to the main bedroom area with a queen bed, 2nd balcony and 2 closets. For the price we paid, we were happy with this resort and the unit. Things to note: Do not book one of these units if you have mobility issues - 1-2 flights of stairs to get to the unit, plus the spiral staircase There is no housekeeping during the stay. Fresh towels and a sweeping would’ve been nice. The loft got really hot during the day. The only AC is downstairs. We were lucky it was cool at night and we could open the slider to cool it off. When the pullout couch is open there is almost no room to navigate the living room. The downstairs balcony only had one chair. Upstairs had 2. Beach was great and calm for kids. Building 7 had its own saltwater pool which wasn’t busy and was nice. Across street was chlorine pool and indoor pool. There was a free washer dryer for guest use on ground floor. Nice perk. We would go back again.

Place was terrible. Noise above your head, no privacy had to put towels up against the bathroom window because it faced the hallway where people walk through to get to their units. No water views from most of the units. Only about 3 units face the water the rest are parking lot views. That being the case, you can't open your curtains or blinds so we were darkened the entire stay! Our bedroom faced another unit, so we couldn't open the curtain, the other faced the parking lot. No natural light. Than the water was cold for a day and a half then a pipe exploded beneath us. Doors to units kept open so no security. Queen size bed we had was actually a full. Bring a measuring tape! This is now a common practice among places, trying to pass off full size beds as queens. This place is like staying at a motel. Units face the parking lot and most units have no view what so ever. Will never return!

This is a lovely condo with a jacuzzi and a fireplace! Plus a view of the ocean. We would love to come here again.

This place was even better than expected. The checkin was fast and friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet with a great view of the ocean. We highly recommend The Breakers.

Upon check in the staff was horrible. Woman was rude, not helpful at all. Left the counter and told the other agent to take care of us. Over 1 hour just to check in. Deposit was already in, just had balance due. They told me my res. Was cancelled even though I had proof & confirmation. Its too bad, because it was a great location. This young lady ruined the beginning of our trip we were so looking forward to.

Didn’t tell us there was a spiral staircase with the bed up in a loft. Pretty much impossible to carry a newborn up and down with all the things they require, plus stair railing was sticky. We specifically told them about the newborn as well. Shower ran all day and night. Door would not close and got stuck all the time. Pictures not hung. Counter was unfinished and sharp. All the caulk around the sink was messy and chipped. Lamp didn’t have a switch so couldn’t use it. Toilet seat was not connected and almost fell off when I sat on it. We got locked out with a newborn because they didn’t program our cards for the 5 nights only one night. The blinds were all different sizes and didn’t fit the window or the slider. Could see inside the unit from the outside. There is only one small mirror above the pedestal sink, so only one person can get ready at a time. Why not put a mirror on one of the blank walls? The only AC is downstairs and the bed is upstairs, so it was very hot. The WIFI has to be reset on all phones every time you leave the property.
