Bluegreen Vacations the Soundings

This is a very clean and nice resort and amazing view to the ocean, great pools (incl. indoor pool), we had a 1 bedroom and it was sufficient; our friends had a 2 bedroom and it was wonderful and spacious. Locations is really good and many restaurants close by

We had a great visit at Seaside, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The resort is updated, and the grounds are spectacular, the indoor pool and hot tub were available during our visit and were very nice. We were visiting during the spring season, so some seasonal places were closed, but the resort had a list of all places that were open! The Red Cottage was fabulous for breakfast. We would love to visit again during warmer weather to be able to use the outdoor pool.

review by Lynn . soundings Seaside was okay in March. The pool area and the pool itself was nice and warm and clean.. The view of Nantucket Sound was great. The modern complimentary coffee machine in the lobby was outstsanding. The staff were very helpful. There was a huge firepit area with comfortable chairs around. The old fashioned hot tub was nice and was gated. The room had a nice gas fireplace which kept the room cozy. The unit itself had a modern full kitchen. Each bedroom had a TV.

We stayed in a third floor, two bedroom suite. It was actually more like an apartment! It had a comfortable sitting room with cozy fireplace. The kitchenette was well stocked with a nice table for eating. There were two full bathrooms which was awesome. The two bedroom areas were separated by a hallway door, which added very nice privacy. Complimentary gourmet coffee was available in the lobby. One morning we were surprised by complementary Dunkin Donuts! Lara at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor amenities (fire pit, hot tub, pool, beach access) looked nice. The location was nice and quiet. The only downside is that there is no elevator so luggage needs to be carried up the stairs. I would recommend The Soundings for a quiet getaway!

We chose to stay here because for family health reasons we needed to be in this area. The unit was okay, but certainly not what I would call a 4 star timeshare. The living room is small and the seating is not very plush. The only place to eat was at a high-top bar in the kitchen, which was not comfortable for me after having had knee replacement surgery. The tables in the living room were not appropriate for eating at or something like a jigsaw puzzle or game. This specific unit was facing the pool and not really appropriate for sitting outside of (given that it was winter, this did not matter but it would be important in the summer). There was no obvious place to hang up clothing to dry. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were adequate in size but there was very little place to unpack and clothing. The indoor heated pool was a feature that helped us choose this timeshare but it was closed from the middle of the week - probably because not many people were staying there but still disappointing. Other features common in what I would consider a 4 star timeshare were lacking; for example, no workout room/gym. The location is wonderful and the staff are very good but we would not return.

Great location right on the water with their own beach. Unit had lots of room, a deck and good bathrooms, there is no full kitchen but that is typical on Cape Cod.
