Bungalow 99

Service - overall friendly and helpful. There is always somebody there 24/7. Rooms - the room is okay. They didn’t explain about the shower heater so first days we had a cold shower. Your hear the noise from outside. Cleanliness - it could be much cleaner. There were stains in our sheets for example (see picture). Mirrors are not clean enough especially the one of the closet. Towels don’t seem to be that clean. Amenities - you share a kitchen and living room with others. To be honest that felt really weird and strange. Besides that. On our floor there was someone with a baby who thought it was a great idea to bring her baby to the common place so everyone could enjoy the cries and screams. Wifi is okay ish. Breakfast - could be better. Fruit is a bit too warm. My waffle was burned needed to ask for a new one. They do offer a variety of things. Location - okay. With a rickshaw it’s easy to arrive quickly at different places. It felt as a safe area for us. Price - waaaaay too expensive. Really not worth it.

Booked a double room for a night for INR11,800 (roughly USD140). Messaged before arrival and got a reply promptly. Payment on arrival and they take credit card. The surrounding area feels alright. The room and toilet are clean and similar to the online photos, bed and temperature are comfortable, good sound proof as there was a festival and it was quite noisy outside but didn’t hear anything inside the room. The living room area and balcony are nice and definitely great for longer stay. Staff is alright, check-in was a bit slow. Breakfast wise, I had scrambled eggs and sausages and they were quite sad (see pic). But I also had a waffle and that was lovely. Overall had a nice stay but do find it overpriced.

This hotel was excellent and a quiet retreat after the being in the hustle and bustle of Delhi. The rooms are lovely and the common area and kitchen is excellent. The staff are very helpful and the location is only a short walking distance from the Defence Colony where there are several great restaurants to eat. Breakfast is also great. I would highly recommend.

I visited the resplendent Bungalow 99 with a group of friends in November. Everything about it was exactly what I needed. The service is fantastic - everyone who works there is extremely kind and hardworking, and they really went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. The rooms are both tasteful yet modern, appointed with a full kitchen and a laundry machine The bathrooms, in particular, are sumptuous—all glass yet full of character. The location in Defense Colony is also great, a quiet neighborhood (by Delhi standards) located in the middle of anywhere you'd want to go. I cannot recommend this place enough.

What a lovely stay it has been! After few weeks of traveling within India, we finally got to Delhi. We were searching for a peaceful place to recharge our batteries far away from bustle and hustle and we stumbled across Bungalow 99. We loved everything about our accommodation! The interior, all the facilities, yummy breakfast, lovely staff that has been extremely polite and helpful, and finally the neighborhood! You can feel relaxed and comfortable wandering around the Defense Colony, chilling in nearby cafes and dining at good restaurants. The area is well connected, few mins away from a metro station. Strongly recommend Bungalow 99 to everyone who is visiting Delhi but prefers to stay away from the busiest parts of town that sometimes can be a little bit hectic.

Looking for a comfortable, clean and beautifully curated place to stay - look no further - Bungalow 99 exceeds expectations in all these spheres. Located in the heart of Delhi this convenient and quiet escape will not disappoint. Each floor has a communal area with lots of functional spaces and a large balcony. The sliding wooden doors to the balcony are a nice touch. The food here on offer is also on point - love the pasta & freshly squeezed juices.
