Charming hotel in a small, quiet town up in the mountains with beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious, they even gave us gluten free bread. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Driving is tight because the roads are old and narrow. Once you check-in they will send you to their private parking area but finding a place to park in the meantime what challenging.

Another fabulous few days in this gem of a hotel. Lucian is the most gracious host, nothing is too much trouble. We staying a the lovely apar**ents near to the main hotel, already looking forwards to my next visit

Stayed at this hotel with my family (including two babies aged 2 and 1 years old). We booked an apar**ent which was exactly as expected. Well equipt kitchen with everything you would expect. Five minutes from the centre of Deia and parking for residents which was fantastic. The noise from the apar**ents above was at times loud at times but we do usually have white noise on with the children so not a problem for us - if you are sensitive to noise you may wish to consider a hotel room instead (separate building from apar**ents) rather than the apar**ent. However, and for us this was the big but - Deia as gorgeous as it is doesn’t have much for small children. You could cover the whole town in one day. We knew this and booked this hotel which was advertised a heated swimming pool as we knew we would be able to entertain our kids by the pool most days even if the town was small. When we arrived we were told by the receptionist that the pool was no longer heated as the price of electric was too high. Later, we were told by the hotel owner that it was to do with hotels not being able to use electric to heat pools following the war in Ukraine. I’m not sure where the truth lies in between these reasons given and either way I sympathise entirely with both, but I do think the hotel shouldn’t be advertising a heated pool on their website if it’s a service they don’t provide. I’m sure they know that people will come under the duress that this is a service they offer as it’s currently advertised as such. The pool was quite literally freezing. My two year old referred to it as an ice bath throughout the entirety of our stay. No one with children under 10 could safely have their kids in a pool of that temperature for any prolonged time. This was during temperatures of 22 degrees. Even adults weren’t accessing the pool due to the temperature - I saw one adult access the pool the duration of our one week stay. My honest advice is, if you are travelling with kids and they don’t have the USP of having a heated pool then truthfully there are apar**ents just as nice in Valldemossa and Soller with a lot more to do to entertain your kids. Visit Deia for the day as public transport is excellent and this is what everyone else seems to do.

A beautiful stylish property. Excellent staff. 2 beautiful small pools. Lovely breakfast. We have stayed here many times & hope to return. Lucien is the best hotel manager that we have ever met on our travels.

Recently stayed at the apar**ents which are just up the road from the hotel. The apar**ent we had as a family of four was spacious, modern and well equipped. The only thing it lacked was a terrace which would just have been perfect. We used the hotel pools every day which are lovely and well kept with absolutely stunning views of Deia all around. There are two great honesty bars which are well stocked with alcohol, soft drinks and bar snacks. We found these really handy. Overall the hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk into Deia down the hill. We ate at quite a few local restaurants including Nama, Sebastian, Italian Trattoria, Miro at La Residencia and Ca’s Patro March at Cala Deia. All were excellent. Deia is an absolutely beautiful town and we loved this hotel. We will definitely be returning.

We have visited Deia many times over the last 30 years and, although a lot busier and touristy now, it is still the most amazing place. We have spent time in Es Moli with young children - wonderful, and La Residencia - fantastic at a cost! But Des Puig feels like home from home and still our favourite place in Deia. This was our first break without children and our Junior Suite with balcony, views outstanding, was exceptional and the honesty bar is superb - the wine was first class! Lucien was the most wonderful host! Massive thank you to all the staff - can't wait to return.

This hotel has one of the best views of Deia and the surrounding mountains. The room was south facing and had plenty of sun with a small private terrace. The bed was very comfortable and they have a pillow menu available. The room was very spacious with a lounge, dressing area and large bathroom. Also fitted out with a coffee machine, kettle and mini fridge. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was great, a good selection of fresh fruits, both local and exotic, yoghurts, eggs, cheese, avocados, juices, pastries etc. the honesty bar downstairs was a nice touch (help yourself to anything and tally it up for the staff). Gym was good and pool looked great, although a little cold in February! Private car park available a two minute walk away. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Deia.
