⭐ Minus 10 Star | The Worst Hospitality Experience Ever – Highly Disappointed I had the most horrendous experience with Haut Monde Resort & Spa, Dehradun and I feel compelled to share this so others can avoid the same mistake. ⚠️ Beware of Misleading Promotions I booked 5 rooms for 2 nights (13–15 June 2025) with all meals included, after being shown fancy and misleading promotional images by Mr. Navjyot Singh from their Gurgaon office. Based on his polished sales pitch, I paid 25% advance on 7th May 2025. Later, on 29th May, I received a suspicious call offering a “room upgrade” to Vahati category, citing another guest's cancellation. Ironically, the upgrade was to smaller rooms, but I was convinced to go ahead since they were supposedly located conveniently near the restaurant, pool, and river stream. 🚧 Arrival Day Disaster On 13th June, after travelling from 4:00 AM from New Delhi with 10 adults and 9 children, we encountered a landslide before the resort. No proactive communication or help from the resort staff. Only after calling them ourselves, a 4x4 was sent without any assistance for our luggage. Guests were left to carry their own belongings, and only children and ladies were assisted across the landslide area. 🛎️ Zero Coordination, Clueless Staff Upon arrival, the reception staff had no idea about our booking. After being redirected multiple times (even to find a staff member named Mr. Ashish), we were eventually given only 3 rooms, all in unclean, pathetic condition: 3 out of 5 rooms were dirty, with no AC, no LED TV, and poor linen 1 room had no ventilation and foul odour Basic amenities were missing 1 room wasn't allotted at all, despite hours of waiting Repeated requests to the resort staff, including Mr. Ashish, were completely ignored. 🍽️ Meal Confusion & Mismanagement Even though our package included all 3 meals, we were told that lunch was not included, and forced to order à la carte. Only after escalating to Mr. Navjyot (again), were we grudgingly allowed to order from the same buffet menu served earlier to others. 😡 No Accountability, No Support After 3 hours of being tossed around, standing with our luggage, and receiving zero hospitality or empathy, I decided to check out without even completing the check-in formalities. Not a single person apologized or attempted to resolve our concerns. Shockingly, the resort did not take ID proofs or verify guests, which is a serious safety and legal lapse. 💸 Advance Payment – No Refund, No Response Till today, there's no clarity on my advance payment. I’ve received no refund, no formal response, and no accountability from the resort’s management. 🔴 Final Verdict: DO NOT BOOK. This property is a scam dressed in luxury marketing. Extremely poor service, false promises, untrained staff, lack of basic hospitality, and no value for money. I had to move to another hotel in Dehradun the same evening — a complete disaster of a trip. Stay away from Haut Monde Resort & Spa, Dehradun
