Das Hotel war sehr sauber und das Zimmer sehr modern. Allerdings ein Zimmer in der dritten Etage, ohne Aufzug und dann niemand da der das Gepäck hoch trägt, ist schon ein Minuspunkt wenn man selber nicht mehr so fit ist. Zimmer im Dachgeschoss, bei 32 Grad Aussentemperatur, ohne Klimaanlage, führt zu einer äußerst hohen Raumtemperatur, die nicht zum entspannten schlafen dient. Ein Hotel mit Außenterasse, die dann aber an einem Samstagabend für Hotelgäste nicht zu nutzen ist weil für eine geschlossene Gesellschaft gesperrt, finde ich schon sehr schade. Hatte nur diesen einen Abend dort, von daher sehr ärgerlich. Ansonsten sehr schöne Anlage mit viel Potenzial nach oben.

Disappointing Stay with Serious Health & Safety Concerns It is with disappointment that I write this review, but I feel compelled to do so due to the hotel’s failure to appropriately manage a very serious situation. We stayed at this hotel as part of a trip for my partner to visit the Nürburgring—a long-anticipated experience for him. Despite some mixed reviews, I chose to book based on the room descriptions and a desire to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, our stay fell short of even the most basic expectations. There were no complimentary water bottles in the room, no tea or coffee-making facilities—yet oddly, there was a bottle opener. Housekeeping did not service our room on the second day, so we were left to reuse damp towels. While the breakfast itself was adequate, the dining area was plagued by flies, which is unacceptable in any hospitality setting. More seriously, there was a significant lapse in health and safety standards. On the final day of our stay, while it was raining, my partner slipped and fell down a marble staircase, resulting in injuries to his back and elbow. There was only a single mat at the top of the staircase, which provided insufficient protection given the weather conditions. The fall was severe enough that other guests came out of their rooms to assist. When I reported the incident to the receptionist, I was met with indifference. My concerns about guest safety and the apparent health and safety oversight were dismissed without any empathy or appropriate response. I have since contacted the hotel to seek clarity on their staff training and responsibility in such situations, and also to request compensation. While they acknowledged that there may have been a language barrier which led to a lack of understanding, they have declined any responsibility. The fact that no one from management—particularly the General Manager—has reached out to us directly is deeply disappointing. Legal proceedings have now been initiated, but I felt it was important to share this experience to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of future guests. Would I stay at this hotel again? Absolutely not. Not only because of the unfortunate incident, but because of the lack of accountability, poor attention to detail, and disregard for customer care..

Nice, quiet park. Good breakfast. Good facilities

Awesome place, great breakfast. Beautiful area. The playground is fantastic and has a zip line. There is a rail connected right to the property. This is a can't miss for nature lovers and a great home base for exploring the Rhineland palatine area

No elevators. Had to haul heavy luggage up and down stairs

Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one evening meal we took. All in all, a really nice stay at Sporthotel Grafenwald!
