We had a wonderful staycation at AHR, their premium rooms were spacious with mountain view, dining hall was nice with nice menu and the hospitality of the reception desk, staffs were very courteous. Bedsheet were equipped with blanket warmers.

Beautiful place managed by amazing human brings; from my room i could see the whole Himalaya. People were so nice. The food is very good and reasonable. Value for money. I will go there multiple times. Place is 3 km from darjeeling mall. You need to take a taxi to go there.

The hotel is located far from hustle & bustle of the city of Darjeeling. Good for families and friends to stay for couple of days. Rooms are clean and tidy. Foods are great and staffs are very cordial. The Manager Ravi is especially helpful and provides solutions to all your issues happily.

Arcadia Heritage Resort is the best hotel we have stayed at in India so far. The room had a soft mattress and comfortable bed. There was a shower gel, shampoo and body lotion provided, with daily room service and cleaning. Meals were absolutely delicious and we had the option of eating in our room, in the pleasant reception or in a tree house (an open-air space with a view of mountains accessible through a fairytale-like staircase). Shahi paneer and the paneer pizza were our personal favourites! And the views - the views were just something else entirely!! In our room there was a large window and a balcony, and from there were could see beautiful mountains and even the Kanchunjanga on a few clear mornings! We would argue that the view from our room in Arcadia had no worse of a view than Tiger Hill. The attached photos are taken from our room's balcony. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Anandi arranged a great driver for us several times, always helped us if we had any issues (for example once we couldn't figure out how to switch on the boiler) and was always pleasant to chat with. Ashish brought us food a billion times, always with kindness and a smile. The hotel is located a little further away from the loudness and crowds of central Darjeeling, which gave us a quiet and peaceful stay during which we could enjoy the natural beauty we had come for. The Peace Pagoda was a 20 minute very steep uphill walk away (only for the brave) and the Dali Monastery was a 10 minute downhill walk away. There were no drawbacks for us personally, but I can imagine it being hard for some people to walk up the steep hill to reach the hotel. Quite a few drivers refuse to drive up to the hotel. To overcome this issue book a driver through Arcadia itself, and the driver will always bring you straight to the door.

View of Mount Kanchenjunga with a cup of coffee from the balcony was amazing. Staff are very polite always ready to help you. Food were amazing. Rooms are very spacious. Best part was the tree house cafe. My kids enjoyed there stay at Arcadia heritage resort. We will definitely visit again.

It was nice staying there. I saw a wonderful view of Mt Kanchanjunga . All the staff members were really friendly and nice. The serving was very good. The food was also very tasty and fresh. I enjoy a lot staying there. I was amazed after seeing the view of mt Kanchanjunga from my room.
