My husband and I stayed at Caribbean Shores B&B and truly enjoyed our visit! The property has been recently repainted and renovated, giving it a fresh and welcoming feel. Each morning, Marlene prepared us a delicious breakfast that started our day off perfectly. We loved the location in the resort area of Hopkins; close to everything yet still peaceful. One of our favorite parts was using the complimentary bikes to explore Hopkins Village at our own pace. It was such a fun and convenient way to see the area. We would definitely recommend Caribbean Shores B&B for anyone visiting Hopkins!

Whilst the staff were lovely the place is not. Needs TLC. Walls are paper thin, could easily hear the neighbours, especially when they were yelling at 5am. No heads up for the planned power outage. No air con, no fan, no water for 8 hours. No thanks

We stayed at Caribbean Shores BnB for a week during our vacation in Hopkins, Belize. While the location is excellent and the area is truly wonderful, our experience with the accommodation itself was disappointing. We booked online from Canada after saving for a year, and chose this BnB because it was more affordable than other options in the area. The photos online looked fantastic, promising a charming and comfortable stay. However, the reality was far from what we expected. The property was in significant disrepair, with clear signs of neglect over the years. Basic cleaning was done, but the overall upkeep was severely lacking. The room we stayed in had a strong musty odor that made us feel nauseous whenever we were inside. Visible damage and neglect were evident throughout the property, which overshadowed the excitement of our long-awaited vacation. While we absolutely loved Hopkins and all it has to offer, the state of the hotel left us disappointed. Caribbean Shores BnB has so much potential given its location and initial appeal, but it desperately needs maintenance and proper care to match what is advertised online. If you're considering this BnB, I’d recommend looking elsewhere unless substantial improvements are made. Hopkins is a gem, and it deserves accommodations that enhance its charm rather than detract from it.

Caribbean Shores in Hopkins, Belize I would not recommend this place. It looked and felt old and rundown. We stayed in the “Jaguar” room located near the pool. It had a musty smell and problems with the air condition. The bed was uncomfortable with pilled-up sheets. We went during the slow season so there was not much going on and hard to find staff when we were experiencing AC issues. I can only comment on the room we stayed in but would have liked to have seen other choices. There were several rolling blackouts during our stay and their backup generator was not working. We were given no information as to when these blackouts were to happen or for how long. I feel like we should have been given some kind of notice instead of just hearing about it after the fact. Other than that we did enjoy breakfast that served to us every morning. The staff was very accommodating to our scheduled events even coming in early when needed.

It is hard to find a mid range hotel in Hopkins. The Caribbean Shores B&B was the best option I could find for a $100USD to $150USD pricepoint. Located in the Sitte Point resort area with restaurants within walking distance. You need to rent a golf cart if you want to go into Hopkins town. Decent pool but it is very deep. You have beach access via another resort. Excellent breakfast if you are staying in one of the B&B rooms. Poor sewage system means placing used toilet paper in the trash can. Despite being guaranteed daily housekeeping you have to request the service. We stayed in the 2 King rooms. In the Iguana room the air conditioner could not be shut off but it worked fine in the Jaguar room. Perhaps the apartment suites are better? Onsite laundry is in disrepair. The onsite store was not open. Make sure to let reception know when you are arriving as they have limited hours. We arrived early to our reservation. The B&B allowed us to wait at their pool. They also did try to get our rooms ready as soon as possible.
