One of the best resorts I’ve ever been too! The receptionist (who I can’t remember his name) was wonderful. He gave us a tour and very helpful information of the resort. The rest of the staff were also very friendly. I loved all the little small touches they added throughout. I highly recommend this resort and would plan another trip back!

12/10. Not only is this one of the most stunning places I've ever stayed, the staff are incredible and so kind. We have never felt so welcomed and looked after. Special mention to Chris our host and Captain Larry. Chris was so lovely and helpful, we really feel he took care of us and was SO attentive and I witnessed him treat all the guests with the same courtesy! Captain Larry was an absolute legend, he was also so informative and gave us tips on where to kayak to to see manatees. He is so funny and really looks out for the guests, making sure they book great tours and know what they will experience. All the staff here are so great, but those 2 were standout. I would return and stay here again any time! We stayed in the Muna air bnb and the Colonial. All of the rooms and different sections of the hotel are all stunning, would highly HIGHLY recommend staying here.

This place is beautiful and the every staff member we met was so kind and helpful. Captain Larry out on the beach helped us with all sorts of water toys, he made sure we were safe and checked in all the time. Greg the at the concierge’s desk was helpful whenever we needed taxis, boat excursions and information. Greg set up an island hopping and snorkeling trip with Guide Chris. Chris was great, he shared so much information and made us feel very safe in the water with young children. It rained SO hard and could have been a miserable day but Chris had a good attitude and we came home smiling. The Colonial was beautifully landscaped and clean. We did not have hot water the entire time we stayed which was the worst part even though we told them many, many times. Check in was 2 hours late and very inconvenient. Minus those two things you can’t beat the location and the views. The kids could not get enough swimming and jumping off of the dock.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We were right on the beach. Everything is easily accessible…pools, outdoor bathrooms, restaurants etc. The place is beautiful! We also are grateful to Captain Larry who came to help us when we had a minor issue. Jumping off the two story dock is a must!

We spent a week at Jaguar Reef for our spring break. We stayed in the Colonial Inn and couldn’t have been more pleased with the room. We were pleasantly surprised with a kitchen, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. The staff made two beds for our daughters too. Being so close to the beach and pools made for a very relaxing and easy going vacation. The staff was so nice, helpful, and truly became friends by the end of the week. We enjoyed access to the bikes and renting golf carts to explore the laid back community of Hopkins. We enjoyed multiple restaurants serving meals with fresh and local ingredients and appreciated a few comforts of home that were available too (burgers and pizza!). And the local grocery stores and fruit stands helped us keep our room well stocked. Our day trip, organized by the Adventure Center at Jaguar Reef, took us to Rhythm Reef Caye. The crew made us feel like royals as we enjoyed guided snorkeling, a gourmet grilled fish and fresh vegetable lunch, and relaxing in the hammocks in the shade. Captain Larry was a treat with his knowledge of the area and tips on how best to enjoy it. Thank you, Captain Larry! Thank you to everyone at Jaguar Reef, Almond Beach Resort, and The Colonial Inn for helping us make memories we will always cherish.

This was our second visit, and once again, this place did not disappoint. Highly recommend! The staff is accommodating, the food is delicious, and the rooms we booked were spacious and comfortable. I also love how well-maintained the property is — the fire pit and marshmallow time were a big hit with the kids! Julio at the front desk was extremely welcoming, helpful, and informative. Genesis at the restaurant was energetic, fun, and an incredible host — a true pro! She should be running the place. And Captain Larry… what can I say? He’s fun, helpful, and full of knowledge. We’ll definitely be back again in the future!
