Wonderful stay with Terri. Her B&B epitomizes everything a B&B should be. Excellent friendly, personable service, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated rooms and communal areas, with every facility necessary. Fantastic breakfast experience with choices to satisfy all needs. A real hospitable experience. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Fabulous breakfast! The most varied selection of fresh and dried fruit, cereals, and nuts. Warm croissants. In addition, a delicious hot breakfast! Terri is a wonderful host and greets you with tea and scones, delicious!! Our room was spacious and the beds and pillows super comfortable. It was a wonderful memorable stay!

Probably the best B&B we've stayed in. We stayed in the Sheppey room which has a king-sized bed, armchairs, and a large bathroom with claw-foot bath and shower. Guests also have access to a lovely lounge, a bar area and a garden terrace. A wide selection of breakfast cereals and fruit plus a full hot breakfast is offered. A great place to be based to explore all that Somerset has to offer.

Everything you could wish for in a b&b. A warm welcome from Terri and her team immediately made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We stayed in Mells, which contains a double bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and shower room. Spacious, well appointed and furnished to the highest standard. Terri’s breakfasts were excellent, freshly cooked to order and combined with plentiful fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals and pastries. The Cross is a convenient base to explore Wells, Glastonbury and surrounding areas. It offers excellent value for money and a ‘home from home’. Thanks to Terri and her team for a wonderful stay.

A lovely hotel but the best bit is the owner, Terri, she is such a lovely host and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Amazing freshly cooked full english breakfast with top quality produce. Lovely and clean spacious room. Would highly recommend.

Prior to being in Bath for the rugby, we had a day in Wells and stayed at the Cross as a halfway stop. This is one of the nicest B&Bs we have ever stayed in. We were welcomed by Terri with the offer of tea and scone which was much appreciated. Our room was Sheppey which is spacious and very comfortable. The Cross is an old building with an interesting history, which has been renovated with the utmost care. You can almost feel that history as you sit down to breakfast, which was superb. We will certainly stay here again when next in this part of the country.

A lovely place to stay! A last minute cancellation, we decided to book this b&b and it was nothing else but a delight. The host, the food, cleanliness and atmosphere was everything you want from a getaway weekend. We will definitely be returning.
