Well behaved pets are welcome, and there are lots of routes for dog walking. The Apartment is the ideal location for exploring Kent's treasures. Sissinghurst Castle & Garden is close by, as well as many other National Trust properties such as Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle. and the home of Sir Winston Churchill, Chartwell. Kent is the centre of English winemaking and brewing with famous vineyards such as Chapel Down, and Shepherd Neame, the oldest brewery in England, both worth a visit. The medieval city of Canterbury and it's ancient Cathedral thrills visitors with an interest in history. Or just take a drive and meander through the lanes and oasthouses to visit Kent's historic and lively market towns, and award winning coastal resorts.
