The Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast

Amazing! The entire experience was just wonderful. The home is breathtaking. The bathtubs/showers are to die for. Easy walking distance to the square. Breakfast was scrumptious. Definitely stay here!!

My wife is a huge Gone With The Wind fan and our trip to Twelve Oaks was at the top of her list. We stayed in the Twelve Oaks Suite and it was amazing! This place takes you back in time and the entire grounds have such a great setting and of course the breakfast was fantastic. A brief walk to the square proved so much fun we ended up spending our entire time in the area. Thank you so much Twelve Oaks you have two raving fans with us! Jim and Paula Sturm

We are halfway through a 2 night stay and think so highly of The Twelve Oaks that we are writing our review now. We arrived after the 6pm check-in window; Maryjane had everything prepared for us and sent the doorcode to gain entry. We made our way to the Master Suite, and it impressed us greatly when we entered; true period charm very well presented. The whole house is delightful! Breakfast the following morning was perfect; sausage, scrambled egg, and pancakes after a fruity parfait to start. It was served by the most friendly and attentive waitress whose name, I regret, I cannot remember. A wonderful location, a beautiful residence, a lovely breakfast, and friendly service. Perfect!

I picked this B&B because of the location and because it was used as filming location for Vampire Diaries which is why I was traveling to Covington. The house is very pretty and the staff was nice. Because of COVID I didn't really participate in the afternoon wine and cheese thing or breakfast very often, but on the one day I did have breakfast they were very kind in being able to offer me an alternative vegan dish (which was awesome). My room was beautiful (the Katherine Mirror Image suite). The temperature in the antique shower is a little temperamental but it does work if you play with it a little. I will say that sound does travel well in that house and since the windows are old you can hear the traffic very well. There was a box fan in the room and I turned that on for some white noise and slept very well. I stayed for 5 nights and would stay here again if I'm ever in Covington again. The location is perfect for walking to the town square.

My husband and I stayed at The Twelve Oaks during a short stop to Atlanta/Covington and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Merry was an incredible host, the breakfast was the best breakfast we had in the USA, and the history of the property re: Gone With The Wind was brilliant. Merry also gave us great recommendations for dinner that we took advantage of. The bed was brilliant and the bathroom amazing.

Remarkable experience but surprised to find Twelve Oaks in the clutch of Covington Township. I always imagined a countryside location for some reason. Tammy and her staff at Twelve Oaks were excellent hosts with everything perfectly maintained and delightfully furnished. Never seen such huge magnolia trees! Fully recommended for the Southern tastes
