Le Saint Joseph

We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint Joseph. We stayed just before Christmas. Rooms were well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The staff were amazing, always available and extremely helpful. The front desk helped us with our ski passes and ski rentals. The ski rental shop is right next door (ignore other reviews complaining about how far away the shop is if you are a reasonable person). Getting skis at the shop was quick and easy. They will put your skis on the slope for you and even help you put on your ski boots. The breakfast, which is included, is excellent. The concierge was very responsive and helped us coordinate dinner reservations in advance of our stay. We would highly recommend Le Saint Joseph!

Really expensive hotel for what it is, unhappy with it. The hotel is really small and in need of modernisation and refurbishment throughout. The bathroom had no proper shower - it had only a handheld shower-head which is so inconvenient and water sprayed everywhere in the bathroom. Completely not the standard of a 5* hotel. Rooms and furniture in need of modernisation, the rooms aren’t really comfortable. Reception area is super small and uncomfortable; it struggles to fit more than two guests and luggage. Reception seating area is in the hotel restaurant as the reception is too small to even fit seats in. This is not a good set-up at all for guests. Spa was really small and old, has very limited facilities. The lounge chairs in the spa were dirty & stained. Breakfast options were average and limited in choice of food. No ski room in the hotel at all - have to leave hotel to walk outside to ski shop. The hotel is NOT a ski-in / ski-out hotel even if they advertise it as one. I visited some other 5* hotels in the area during my stay for tea etc. and service in other hotels were much friendlier and warmer. Completely better than Hotel Le St Joseph. Overall, not the standard of a 5* hotel, more like 3* throughout and there are many better hotels also with better service in Courchevel. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to anyone.

It feels like your getting suckered in. Everything is extremely expensive and just not very good. There are a lot of hidden fees you find yourself paying almost double from what you wanted to pay Initially. Also when they recommend “activities” it’s all under the same brand so you’ll find yourself eating the same overpriced food with the same music in the background. You can’t make a 8$ pizza then add some truffles and expect me to pay 60$

It is not the first time visiting Courchevel but the first time at this beautiful place. We chose the family room, and it was perfect. Decor, little special touches, warm and friendly staff, excellent food selection for breakfast and health corner. I was most impressed by the health corner where you could find various detox juices and particular vitamins for your health. The location is also 10/10 as the ski shop hotel works with is like 10 seconds walk and maybe 1min max to the main ski lift too. Although we ran out of time and didn’t use the spa, it looked amazing, and we will definitely go there too. Thank you so much for the lovely stay ❤️ P.s. both hotel restaurants are wow. My partner and I had eaten at Saint Marco four years ago, and by a pure coincidence, we were here now too. Merci et à bientôt 🙏🏻❤️

Une magnifique découverte au centre de 1850 , l' hôtel ST JOSEPH est à taille humaine avec un personnel de très grande qualité, les chambres cosy, à notre arrivée petit feu de cheminée petites attentions adorables. Un personnel discret mais présent dès que besoin, vous ne manquerez de rien au petit déjeuner, la responsable du p'tit déj d'une grande gentillesse, serviable et bienveillante! Je vous recommande également le resto ITALIEN avec une équipe de choc et des mets succulents, merci à tous pour votre gentillesse, bienveillance et professionnalisme,vous pouvez être sûr de nous revoir l'année prochaine! Une saleté repoussante, photos jointe. Tous les tapis et moquettes usés jusqu'à la corde, à peine de lumière dans la salle de bains. Plus encore des pannes de courant pendant 3 heures le 189 mars de 16 à 19 heures! Cet hotel revendique 5 *, avec les tarifs qui vont avec, il en mérite à peine 3. C'est une honte. Lorsque j'ai signalé la crasse sous le lit la réceptionniste m'a répondu que "tout le monde ne regarde pas sous les lits"!! J'étais juste allé chercher quelque chose que j'avais laissé tomber... Jamais vu cela auparavant.
