엘 몰리노 데 과티자(Molino de Guatiza)

Was told the place is under new management. You pay for what you get. On arrival, we were so confused as the reception was empty, only to find out we had to walk down the road to another hotel reception just to check in! (This needs to be sorted) we were told to wait an hour and a half whilst the room was cleaned as it still wasn’t ready. Looks like the place is still undergoing refurbishment. The apartments are okay(ish). Not modern (which isn’t a problem). The only problems in the apartment really were the fact that the water constantly run out. There was only ever enough hot water for one person. The beds were very uncomfortable and thin mattresses, and only one VERY thin pillow per bed. Requested extra pillow but nothing was done. When windy, the front door and window kept banging loudly (so if you get room 11 on the ground floor I would suggest declining) On checkout, approached the reception, the lady was on the phone but asked if she could assist me - so I asked for a taxi to be called, for the lady to say she was speaking to a customer and to wait to see if she can get one. Not very professional in my opinion. The location is okay, maybe a 15/20 minute walk to the centre. Was told the pool is now heated, although couldn’t tell the difference. Don’t trust the pictures you see online as it is completely different. My best advice would be to spend that bit of extra money - and get yourself somewhere decent that would be closer to the town with better amenities.

Property is convenient for the town of Costa Teguise. Restaurants, shops and beaches are within easy short walking distance. It is family resort and as such is noisy during the day and into the evening, with children being left to play in the pool, which the apartments are around. The apartments are good value for money but are somewhat tired. The staff, who are not on site, but at the sister property across the road, are helpful.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but this apartment complex exceeded expectations. The flat is basic but very well equipped and the bed was very comfy. You can reach a large spar shop and the square and main beach area a 5 minute walk down the steps at the back of the complex and across the road and along the little path which takes you to the centre of the resort, there was a huge smart tv with bbc 1, 2, channels 4 and 5.. The complex is quiet and felt very safe. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a nice atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Ideal location, just a 5 min walk into town. Would definitely recommend. Will be back again soon I hope.

We had a quick 5 day break. Wasn’t expecting much but was both happily surprised. Very clean and very happy polite staff. We will definitely be returning. The location was great for us bang in between Teguise and playa bastion for the best of both worlds

Great location basic accommodation but value for money the bed pillows could have been better heated pool second time we have stayed here and would do again depending on price obviously

Lovely stay at this little complex in Costa Teguise 25th Jan - 1st Feb. Solo traveller and felt really safe and absolutely loved my apartment. Basic but had everything I needed. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area clean and pool water wasn't cold so was able to swim and take a dip. Loved the balcony, had a lovely pool view and sea view. The complex is quiet and there was a lovely friendly feel within the complex. Excellent location, only a few minutes walk down to sea front and everything in Costa is within walking distance. Shops and bars nearby and a taxi rank and bus stop only 5 minute walk away. Thanks for a lovely stay. I will definatley be back.

This a hidden gem. Previously we have stayed in the centre of Costa teguise but we would definitely come back here again. A short 10 mins walk to the centre with bars and restaurants and also the sea front. This complex is small,a bit dated but clean and tidy. A well maintained pool with several sunbeds. Also access to the complex across the road - camel springs. This has a pool bar which serves food, and access also to another pool with sunbeds. Our appartment itself was absolutely huge and was clean enough with regular bed / laundry changes. All of the staff are so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely be returning.
